In terms of location you will be in the Silver Creek / Glenwild area, a area boasting tons of trails, nature and larger property sizes. Step out the door to enjoy an extensive network of trails for non-motorized activities (i.e., hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding). You will see horses (the area is the center of equestrian activities in Park City), deer, elk, moose and more. The area is centrally located with Kimball Junction, Redstone, Newpark and The Canyons 10 minutes in one direction; Deer Valley’s back entrance and the Jordandelle reservoir 10 minutes the other direction; Historic Downtown Park City, Park City Mountain Resort and Deer Valley’s main entrance 15 minutes away. Car is required (fyi - may cost no more than round trip ground transportation).
Property is priced attractively for a couple, yet can accommodate up to 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 children if so desired.
Also note that your stay will be supporting the environment as you are choosing a green property with a substantial portion of the property's power coming from rooftop solar.

Long history of VRBO rentals; this is my newest property
Brad purchased this apartment in 2011
The most amazing views in all of Park City -- views of all three ski resorts, Olympic Park and the ski jumps, Glenwild golf course. Trails for mountain biking and hiking right out the door.
Your creature comforts have been thought of, from the most comfortable to beds, to luxury terry cotton bath robes.
This is a nicely furnished and well cared for spot near Kimball Junction. It took us 12-15 minutes to drive to the Utah Olympic Park from the rental. It was just as described online. Be aware that the whole vacation rental is on the second floor and the spiral staircase from the pictures is how you access the space. So if stairs are an issue for you, this might not be your best option. Also the location is a little remote which was a plus for us but may not be your thing. We also saw a herd of elk next door a few times during our stay, so that was cool.
This was our first time using VRBO and this was the perfect first impression! The rental is exactly what they describe. It was the perfect location in regards to a variety of ski resorts and was a relaxing, comfortable place to go home to after a day on the slopes. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a quiet get-a-way.
The property was perfect for our guys week getaway. We skied Park City and Snowbird for 4 days. Plenty of room for our gear in the huge entrance room. Very easy to get to and from all the major resort areas. The huge dining area window has an exceptional view of the entire Park City/Canyons Resort Mountain and its trails. I highly recommend this property.
This property is amazing. Only 20 minutes from the Canyons or Park City resort I enjoyed my stay there so much I'm looking forward to another excuse to get out there again. The owner was extremely nice, the property and the view was incredible, and the housing was extremely comfortable! My favorite part was bacon and eggs on the grill side burner I got to cook every morning
What a wonderful week in Park City! Yes, all the fresh powder was a bonus, but the accommodations were perfect for our small family of three. The view from the king bed is breathtaking! The pictures/description are spot on. Was great to leave our ski gear downstairs in the heated entry so ski boots could warm up over night. Good wildlife viewing in the winter as well - we saw many rabbits coming home at night (became our family contest if we could guess the right amount), lots of elk and some deer too. My son and I walked around on the trail just down the road, was nice to get a lay of the land. Restaurant/shops just an exit away in Kimball Junction. Was nice taking the back way (Rt. 40??) to get to slopes. Owner very attentive when we requested a new can opener & pair of scissors; left for us at the front door within the hour. He also helped get me unstuck in a snow bank - above and beyond the call of duty!
Would love to come back in the summer, I bet it is stunning then too.
note: no pets allowed, but owner does have a very friendly dog - just an FYI if you have allergies
I rented this apartment for the summer while I taught at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. It was a wonderful retreat away from the heat and noise of the city, and I was happy every afternoon to head home (about 35 minutes) to this beautiful apartment. The owner's description of the apartment is very accurate, and the very few questions/issues that came up over the summer were handled promptly and professionally. Pros: super-comfy bed, nice bathroom, fantastic mountain views, A/C, almost-daily wildlife viewing (deer, elk, rabbits), peaceful country sounds at night (crickets and frogs, and occasional coyotes in the distance), nice balcony with chairs, attentive owner. Cons: I really can't think of any. I'd definitely stay again.
car required (but in most cases is no more expensive than round trip ground transportation); hiking & biking trails immediately out the door
