We are from 'brrr' Minnesota and our family has owned this condo for over 40 years. We are realtors with Edina Realty and we understand what people want in their living environment. We used that expertise when re-building after Hurricane Charlie.
Rob Crepeau and Bridget Crepeau purchased this condo in 1987
We love Southwest Florida's climate and environment. We can relax in the peace and quiet of paradise. Coming here is always like coming home.
On site management is the most friendly and professional anywhere, so unexpected problems are quickly solved. 19 steps and you are on the white sand beach with millions of seashells. We like going out to eat, so the multitude of restaurants of all types is a plus for us, plus a movie theatre as well as a live theatre (in season), shopping and 26 miles of bike trails. Bike to the library, go to 'The Grove' and grill dinner, while watching the osprey nest. Tennis, on-site bike rentals, and Gulf-front heated pool are just some of the amenities available.
Absolutely beautifully and tastefully decorated, larger two bedroom unit in a top notch condominium facility. The unit is on the second floor, which allows you to see over the dunes to the ocean. There is an elevator in the building. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need, with the exception of spices. Quality newer appliances, including a washer & dryer. You absolutely can't go wrong with this one!
Fabulous girl's beach trip from June 18-25, 2016. LOVED renting this little piece of heaven on the beach. The photos shown are accurate representations of what the condo looks like. Plenty of room for the three of us and so much better than a hotel room. If we weren't at the beautiful beach walking, shelling, reading or just soaking up the sun, you could find us poolside. Inside, lots of time spent on the screened lanai, yeah no bugs. The kitchen was excellent and had everything we needed to do some minor meal preparations which was kind of fun. Seriously, on vacation and I think we ate at all the most popular restaurants from Sanibel Island to Captiva. Lots of restaurants with good food but they aren't cheap. My favorite meal was the Shrimp Paridiso at Jacaranda's. Also, liked the clean upscale atmosphere and food at Trader's. Ocean Reach has bonus areas...the BBQ area where we grilled burgers for our picnic and the shell washing station was helpful. We found the desk staff at the office to be extremely friendly and knowledgeable. If you prefer an active night life, the area may not be the right fit for you since we swore everyone must have gone home and to bed by 10! That's ok for a change of pace, cause Ocean Reach feels remote, is quiet, and oh so relaxing! We loved it!
Excellent week with my college age girls. Just chilled on the beach or around the pool when the tropical storm allowed or piled on the couch watching movies eating junk food when we couldn't get out, we managed to fill ever second with relaxing!! We got a crash course in live creatures in shells that came ashore prior to the storm.....so many big ones!! Sand dollars in ever size you can imagine too. No need to leave the island, grocery store is at the end of the road. It was everything we wanted except it ended too soon!!
I have been to Oceans Reach several times and I think it's one of the best places to stay on the island. This complex is quiet, well maintained and has everything you need. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. My girlfriends and I just spent last week in this beautiful condo and loved it--it's comfortable, beautiful and you can hear the ocean from your bed at night. Since coming to this particular place, it would be tough for me to consider going anywhere else.
We were fortunate enough to spend 2 weeks at this fabulous condo. We've been coming to Sanibel/Captiva for years now, and this is the best condo we have found. It has it all - a great view, up to date kitchen, nice shower/bathroom... And the staff in the office were extremely friendly and helpful. We hope to be back in the spring.
Have just returned home after spending two wonderful weeks in this beautiful condo. The views from the lanai and master bedroom are priceless. Very tastefully decorated. Wonderful kitchen with every item you could ever need. We felt completely at home there. Very helpful and kind front desk team. Just a few steps to the beach as stated. Would stay there again in a heartbeat and if it were for sale would actually consider buying it. The owners of this condo are so nice and will answer every question you have. One of the best places to stay on Sanibel Island.
