About Jane Livingston - Owner
I consider myself to be very blessed and fortunate to live in a country where we can enjoy our freedoms. I am a lucky mom to a wonderful teenage son. I find the world and people fascinating and relish the time I can spend traveling and exploring.. I love to travel, experience the world and spend time outdoors.
Jane Livingston - Owner purchased this House in 2011
Why Jane Livingston - Owner chose Estes Park
I worked at the YMCA of the Rockies one summer while in college and I almost stayed rather than going back to college. Rocky Mountain National Park has some of the best hiking in the world. Being by the water and soaking up the outdoors while listening to the soothing sounds of the river and taking in the spectacular rocky mountains is a wonderful feeling. The energy around our home and along the river is awesome and being so close to Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park is wonderful.
What makes this House unique
We are 1.5 miles to Rocky Mountain National Park and less than that to a grocery store and shopping. Relax by the river while reading a good book and being mesmerized by the spectacular beauty of the mountains and the sounds of the river. Sit on the river patio while fishing to your heart's content. Soak in the hot tub after hiking or snowshoeing while watching and listening to the river. Enjoy a soothing, peaceful steam shower anytime you desire. Relax with your morning cup of coffee on the patio taking in all the beauty. Enjoy a glass of wine on the deck as the sun sets behind the mountains while cooking those fresh caught fish on the grill.

Perfect for us!
The house is large and very nice. Would definitely stay there again.
A Rocky Mountain delight
This home was perfectly suited to our group of 9 seniors (4 couples and 1 single), who visit national parks together each year for the last several years. The house was conveniently laid out with spacious living/dining area, deck overlooking Big Thompson River, hot tub, BBQ, well-equipped kitchen, 5 bedrooms each with king bed, 4 bathrooms. The location (10 minutes drive from eastern entrance to Rocky Mountain NP) was very convenient for exploring the park and the town of Estes Park. Wildlife seen from our house included elk (including a bull elk and cows that strolled along the road in front of the house), red-tailed hawk, deer, squirrels and various birds. The property is well-maintained, clean, and full of extra amenities (like towels and bathrobes for the hot tub, several TVs and DVD players, lots of DVDs, books, and games). We highly recommend this vacation rental!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The setting on the river was probably what everyone liked best. Deer and Elk came down to river to drink as we watched.
Kitchen and living room areas could use some upgrading but was fine for our group. Beds were clean and comfortable for all.
The house and location were beautiful. Kitchen was stocked very well. Would definitely come back!
Renting process was very simple.
Wonderful home on the River
We absolutely loved this home for our family vacation! It was perfect for our large group! Loved the location, close to everything yet on a quiet road so felt very private. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies. We enjoyed the hot tub after a day of hiking or fishing and had so much fun playing ping pong and games together in the evening. The owner was great to work with, the process of renting, arrival and checkout was very smooth! Dancing Bears is right on the river and there is nothing better than hearing the sounds of the water as you fall asleep each night! Can’t wait to stay here again!!
Fantastic Riverside Cabin
We have rented this property twice and have had a great experience both times. The location right on the Big Thompson River is beautiful and private. We had four generations of our family comfortably stay in this spacious cabin. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped with everything needed to cook for a group. The location is perfect for access to Rocky Mountain National Park.
