The cabin was absolutely beautiful inside and out, the three decks give you so many different views! The drive to the cabin well it's a little scary at times, but the owner gives you step by step direction so please follow those! Even with the nerve racking mountain roads and steep hills we went to pigeon forge and gatlinburg everyday! The Cabin has so much to offer inside you don't have to leave to have fun! Cabin is secluded and decks are very private! We definitely loved our adult weekend away! Thanks for sharing your cabin work us!

Cabin was very clean. So adorable. Bedroom upstairs is open... more like a loft. Everything was great. Amazing views. Plenty of bathrooms. We had 4 people in our group, 6 adults could come comfortably. Wonderful time!

Owner's Response: Hi Taylor, I like the way you described the cabin - "adorable", it suits the cabin well. Thank you! I too agree that the view at the cabin is amazing. It is hard to capture the views in pictures and video, especially the sunset (one of my favorites at the cabin). I am glad that you were able to enjoy it. - Siew

Nice Cabin on a Long and Winding Road

  • 5 of 5

Booked this cabin last minute for a mid week get away for wife and I before holiday havoc started at home. Some confusion and issue with booking and reserving but owner/property manager did get it resolved. Booking the cabin the day before we arrived was probably contributing factor to reservation issue other factor was owner/property manager requiring a confirmation response within 24 hours (which was sent but in her spam folder). To owner/property manager credit she did resolve issue in a timely manner.

Be thankful for directions to cabin the owner will send. Without these directions you will never find the cabin. Roads not on GPS and while cabin is in a cabin development there are a lot of curvy, windy, switchback roads. We have rented a lot of cabins in a lot of the mountains in this area over the years but found this one to probably be the most difficult to get to. The positive to all of this is that the cabin is well worth the effort to get there!

Cabin is advertised as "secluded", while not really secluded since there are not in cabins right next to it on either side or right above it or below it, it does feel secluded. So it did fit our preference for a secluded cabin.

Cabin is very clean. We have found this to be the case with most VRBO properties as opposed to going thru the commercial cabin rental agencies. While they all charge an additional fee for Cleaning, I don't mind this fee as long as cabin is clean. This cabin is clean.

Furniture, TV's and associated items were nice and not "hand me downs" type like we have had in some cabins. Electronics worked as they should and had good directions with them in order to operate them. Air hockey game did not work but no issue for us as we didn't use it but I checked it in case we wanted to book in the future with our grandkids.

Cabin is a 3 story type cabin with the main living room area being open for 2 stories . Temperatures were in mid teens at night and 20's during day. Heat system not quite capable of keeping up with this type of extreme temperatures in this cabin plan. Lower floor with large tv/theatre was never comfortably warm at night. Middle floor was comfortable with gas fireplace burning. Since heat rises the upstairs loft bedroom was uncomfortably warm at night. This is not a knock on the cabin just something to be aware of for a winter stay.

We would rate this as one of our top 5 cabins to rent for return visits.

Owner's Response: Hi Mike, I am so glad that you decided to call me about your reservation. Until today, it is still a mystery as to where the emails went. Sometimes the emails seem to have a mind of their own. I wanted to thank you for your patience throughout the process. I am just happy that it all worked out. The road to the cabin can get a little tricky for people that are not used to the mountain road. However, as you pointed out, the cabin makes the drive all well worth it. I would like to think of it as a treasure hidden in the mountain. We talked multiple times throughout your stay and I wish that you would have mentioned about the air hockey table to me. My family spent sometimes at the cabin after your stay and the air hockey table worked just fine. The switch for the air hockey is located underneath the table. I am guessing that you perhaps or maybe missed the switch? Thank you for taking the time to post the review. Please let me know when you decide to revisit the Smokies with the grandkids, I would love to have your family as my guests again. And this time, please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions. I may not have all the answers but I will do my best so that your stay will be Comfy and Cozy - Siew

Very nice & quietly secluded

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful, clean cabin. Good views on the mountainside, without cabins underneath.

We loved it. The only thing we weren't 100% pleased with is the heating downstairs.... quiet chilly when it's 30F outside, but heat definitely rises to the 3rd floor.

Will definitely be returning! Owner is great as well as the cabin.

Owner's Response: Thank you Chris for posting the review. Glad you enjoyed the cabin. We exchanged several emails throughout your stay and I wish you would have mentioned about the temperature to me. I would have told you that there's a portable heater at the cabin to make your stay more comfortable. The temperature at the cabin is a little tricky in the winter. As the warm air rises, the lower level does get colder. Thus, we have provided a portable heater at the cabin for the comfort of the guests. I am actually pretty nervous about having a portable heater at the cabin as it can be a fire hazard. Therefore, it is stored away in the laundry room when it is not in use. With that said, the portable heater does come in handy from time to time. When the lower level gets too cold, the heater is the one that makes the cabin even more Comfy and Cozy. :) - Siew

Wonderful family getaway!

  • 5 of 5

My family stayed here at Comfy Cozy for 4 days,it was wonderful! The place is beautiful & is in a perfect place. Beautiful view also! If you like to be off by yourself, but yet still close to all the nearby attractions then this is your place. It's located right between Pigeon forge & Gatlinburg. Very short distances to both. We truly enjoyed & will be back!

Owner's Response: Thank you Julie for the great review. I totally agree that Comfy and Cozy is in a perfect spot. Secluded but yet convenient. After a long day of walking at downtown Gatlinburg or after a day fun at Dollywood, it is always nice to know that the cabin is just a short drive away. - Siew
