we loved staying at this chalet. very clean and very comfortable. we were so happy we could have our dog there. we walked from chalet to echo beach 2/day. it was a great walk. corey left enough supplies for us. didn't have to but toilet paper or paper towels. would recommend to anyone!

Generally clean with a few problems, the floors were quite dirty and in need of a thorough cleaning

  • 3 of 5

The chalet was acceptable, but rather uninviting, with little or no character. Poor lighting in all rooms, unable to read in bed or in the main living area. The shower curtain in the master bathroom was moldy on the bottom and the mattress cover should have been thrown away it was so thread bear. There were no instructions on how to operate the TV or the fireplace. Had to contact the owner who was vague in his instructions. The pilot for the gas fireplace was unlit, again the owner had to be contacted to resolve the issue. For the cost, it was uninspiring at best.

Absolutely PERFECT!

  • 5 of 5

The chalet is lovely.... there were 4 adults staying at the house and it worked perfectly - each couple had their own "space" and bathroom, entry and parking area. The house was light, airy, clean and only 10 miles from the highland games so we weren't fighting traffic for miles and miles!

With all of us wearing special Scottish clan logo clothing, it was great to have the washer/dryer so we could toss our shirts and jeans in each night and have them fresh for the next day. The kitchen had everything you needed - including a dish washer so we could prepare decent meals and not spend the rest of the evening washing dishes! The appliances were modern and all worked --- things just couldn't have been better.

The house would have been too expensive for us on our own (social security) but by sharing with another couple it was a 'do-able' vacation for all of us. Motel rooms would have cost us more and then you have the cost of food on top of it! Prohibitive. I RECOMMEND this property without reservation!

Thank you, Mark for a wonderful first trip to NH......it won't be our last!

Tucked away, beautiful clean home with plenty of space.

  • 5 of 5

This house was the perfect amount of space for our group of 6 adults. It also was a huge bonus that they were willing to let our dog stay with us. The house was extremely clean and comfortable and was a good location for our needs. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful, Rustic Vacation Home

  • 5 of 5

This was our second time staying in this beautiful, immaculate chalet. The home was equipped with everything you could possibly need, so no worries if you left something behind. Corey was wonderful and quick to respond to our last minute decision of making the trip to N.H. I would recommend this home to friends and family and would love to return as well!! It was perfect for our family! I also recommend taking a drive to the Lost River Gorge which was a beautiful drive from the property. There are no words to describe the beauty and peacefulness of the Lost River!
