My wife and I stayed at Castello delle Quattro Torra for two nights while on a trip through Italy. The experience could not have been more perfect. Not only was the setting in the countryside outside of Sienna relaxing and peaceful, but the ability to stay in such a wonderfully preserved landmark was fantastic. Nichola and his mother could not have been more hospitable hosts. We would definitely also recommend dinner at Nichola's restaurant Le Pietre Vive -- the best meal we had while in Italy. My wife and I would definitely wish to stay at Castello again and recommend to friends as well
Staying in an authentic castle was a fun experience. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were excellent.
We are a family of four (me, my wife and two girls - ages 12 and 14). We had a lovely stay at Castello Delle Quattro Torra. This was a wonderful place with the added benefit of being a bed and breakfast. Everyone we met and dealt with was so nice. Heather was great to work with and communicate about our stay. They were flexible with us and our timing. They helped us book dinner at their related and nearby farmhouse restaurant, La Pietre Vive, which we would highly recommend. The castle is very close to Siena - probably a ten minute drive to the main part of Siena. The castle itself was fantastic. The apartment rooms we stayed in were huge and very nice. Everything was very clean. They've done a very good job of converting this space, but still you have to remember it was built hundreds of years ago. The upstairs common rooms were great - we loved the breakfast and the ability to climb the Tower and take-in the simply awesome and breathtaking views of Siena. My girls loved the romance of staying in the castle and seeing all of its quirks and views. We only wished we had more time to spend wandering the grounds and soaking in the views. We would definitely recommend it to friends and family.
This is such a beautiful place! The owners are very accommodating and the breakfast was wonderful. It's not got an elevator but we were able to carry what we needed just fine. It's clean and the views are stunning. It's spacious as well and has a wonderful little kitchen and fridge. It's a quick drive to the city center as well. We had a wonderful tour of some wineries as well as a monastery with Franco that is one of the best we have ever been on! We hope to stay here again!!
