Unique Accommodatiosn in beautiful area
Our stay at the castle was great. The hosts were accommodating and the little apartment had everything we needed.
An exceptional property in a great location with great people overseeing it. This is how I remember our stay, having returned home just 3 days ago. We stayed in both the tower and the Blue room, as the tower was not available for our full 3 night stay. Both were very clean and well furnished, with breakfast provided each morning. Valerie, who is the woman that greets you upon arrival and looks after you is delightful. She is full of very good suggestions and local information on the areas many interesting sights , and despite what she may think speaks excellent English. The castle is located on a working farm which produces Saffron, and Olives among other crops. They also have their own vineyard from which their wine is made, and keep honey bees that produce the honey that is on the breakfast table every morning. All of which are available for purchase to bring home. There is also a restaurant nearby run by a family member serving food prepared using many ingredients produced on the farm. We were only able to eat here once, because we were exploring too far away to get back in time for dinner, but our meals were very good, with the waitstaff being very pleasant and helpful. If you are going to be in the area and are looking for a unique place to stay you will not be disappointed.

Historic, Beautiful, Friendly, Haunted?
My family and I stayed just two days as a prelude to attending a wedding in Figline Valdarno. On our trip we stayed in three locations and this was the most fun. You could stay in the castle and not leave for a few days just absorbing the atmosphere. Even though you feel like you're in the country the middle of Siena is only minutes away from the castle. We had a car but I am sure Valeria would help you get a cab into town. Draw backs; air conditioning is limited to the bedroom in the apartment I stayed in. Lots of stairs to get to the common area where breakfast is served (i had an ankle injury at the time). When you get there Rosie will take good care of you. Due to acute jet lag my family didn't make it to breakfast either day so Rosie put together a tray of breads, fruit, cheese, coffee, etc. to bring to the room. The building was built in the mid 1200's so don't expect perfection. You will love it here.
Magnificent Quirky Castle
It was quite the treat to stay in such a historic place. The views were amazing from our room and the tower. We joined the owner at his farm restaurant for dinner a mile or so away. Wonderful dining experience and beautiful location! Quite the Tuscan experience! We we're greeted for breakfast with wonderful baked good, fruit and juices up in the tower in a private dining room. If you like quiet & rural this place is for you!! Definitely need a form of transportation to reach any amenities.
Once in a lifetime experience in Tuscany
My wife and I stayed at Castello delle Quattro Torra for two nights while on a trip through Italy. The experience could not have been more perfect. Not only was the setting in the countryside outside of Sienna relaxing and peaceful, but the ability to stay in such a wonderfully preserved landmark was fantastic. Nichola and his mother could not have been more hospitable hosts. We would definitely also recommend dinner at Nichola's restaurant Le Pietre Vive -- the best meal we had while in Italy. My wife and I would definitely wish to stay at Castello again and recommend to friends as well
Thank you, so glad you enjoyed your stay with us. We'd be delighted to have you come back again or to welcome any of your friends.
Loved the castle and the castle grounds. A unique, authentic and fun experience.
Staying in an authentic castle was a fun experience. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were excellent.
