Guestbook comments from the owner

Really liked this place. We went up with bikes, so the fact that it wasn't across the street from the lake was actually a bonus... we wanted to ride around to get places. Highly recommended.

What I loved: - Interior design (paint, art, bedding...etc.), felt like we were staying in a Pottery Barn (compliment) - spa - proximity to fun things to do (we had bikes, so having the Lake a couple miles away was actually a bonus vs. right across the street) - spa in the backyard, we used it every night

Lovely cabin in a great location. The rooms are immaculate, and tastefuly decorated. Kitchen is fully equipped down to disposable Tupperware. The hot tub is an amazing bonus! Will definitely stay here again.

Cozy cabin close to it all!

  • 5 of 5

We are a family of four with two young children and found this cabin suited our needs perfectly. The floor plan is open in the living and dining areas and the single level makes it easy to keep an eye on little wanderers. Was such a relief to be super close to restaurants and grocery stores and kitchen had everything we needed if we didn't feel like going out. Such a luxury to have the washer and dryer and the fabulous hot tub! Everything was labeled and easy to use, however, a little primer on the cable situation would have been good.

We took the kids sledding at the Kahle playground off of Kingsbury Grade, El Dorado Beach and snow playground playing at the South Lake Rec. Center. Dad went boarding at Heavenly and mom got a hot stone massage (after the playground of course) at Elements Spa in the Lakeshore Lodge. We ate at our favorite, Tep's Villa Roma, and checked out the neighborhood brewery, Clearwater, which makes a mean IPA.

I would recommend this cabin to anyone vacationing in the South Lake area. The owner is very accommodating and responsive. We hope to be back on our next trip!

Cozy place and excellent layout for 2 couples

  • 5 of 5

Very nice inside with comfortable beds. Games and puzzles to pass the time and a kitchen stocked with everything you forgot to make that meal- like oil's, spices, etc. Plenty of pots and pans.

After that day on the slopes? Hit the hot tub, you won't regret it!

Great vacation spot

  • 5 of 5

The four of us (2 couples) had a great time at Lynette's house. The beds are comfortable, the hot tub was perfect, and the kitchen was impressively stocked with cooking essentials. Location is convenient and the owner was easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay here again.

Love Lazy Bear

We loved our stay here. First time to South Lake Tahoe and we were amazed at how picturesque it was. The house had everything that we needed or could have wanted. Great location!
