There are several spacious common areas, including an inviting wrap-around porch with Adirondack chairs for admiring the wonderful scenery.

Pittsfield offers an abundance of activities, energetic or otherwise. There is always something exciting and unique to do. Many folks come to Pittsfield simply to seek out old-fashioned country quiet, savoring the chance to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature, to gaze in wonder at the brilliant colors during fall foliage, or to stroll through the village green with a latte from our quintessential Vermont general store. Others come to enjoy a mellow tube ride down our river, or an inspiring visit to the local gallery featuring marble sculptures.

Pittsfield is also a prime location for outdoor enthusiasts, no matter what the season. Surrounded by the lush Green Mountains, Pittsfield has renowned hiking, mountain biking, and snowshoeing trails. In fact immediately across the road from the Lodge you will find the entrance to Green Mountain Trails, boasting 20 miles of trails that stretch across 750 acres. In the fall we organize multi-day road bike tours from our Lodge (courtesy of Great Bike Tours). And for the golfers out there, it’s only a 10-minute drive to Vermont’s #1-rated public golf course — the 18-hole Green Mountain National Golf Course. Winter offers an equal array of exciting outdoor activities. Besides the snowshoe trails across the road (and we also organize our own snowshoe tours), you can also utilize some of the nearby top-notch snowmobile trails, go cross-country skiing, take a sleigh ride, or drive 20 minutes to the Killington Ski Resort.

Did we mention that you can rent the entire Amee Farm Lodge for your own event? We host all manner of Vermont weddings, family reunions, corporate events, conventions, retreats, and private parties. The downstairs level is perfect for gatherings of up to 200 people. If you have been looking for the ideal location to host your wedding or other event, then look no further than the Amee Farm Lodge.

Exceptional experience

  • 5 of 5

The accommodations and location were superb. But it was the effort that the staff and management made to accommodate my large group of 34 people that made this experience so perfect.

The BEST place for a large group in VT

  • 5 of 5

We have now stayed at Amee Farm for the past two New Year's weekends. It is absolutely my favorite place in Vermont. The lodge is huge, room enough for all (40!!) of our friends. The beds are AMAZING, the bathrooms and rooms are spectacular. It is also very close to Killington and Woodstock, both of which are worth exploring! I would highly recommend staying at Amee Farm Lodge, plus the Innkeeper Simon is the best!

Beautiful Lodge

  • 5 of 5

Just got back from a fabulous weekend. We were 5 families celebrating my husbands birthday. Kids ranging from infant to 11 and everyone had a blast. The lodge is spacious, fairly updated and perfect for a big group. The lower level is awesome with a table for 30 to dine at, a bar, ping pong, pool, shuffle board and lots of sitting areas. The main level has two sitting areas, smaller dining area and some rooms. The kitchen is small but sufficient. We did cook all of our meals - thankfully there is a big stove, fully equipped with plenty of supplies. There is no dish washer (unless we missed it!) that was the only downside. Upper levels have lots of room options, updated bathrooms. They provided pack n plays, roll away beds and everything we needed.

We loved using the fire pit outside for s'mores and had fun with their sleds on the hills around the property. Killington is close and I'm sure there are lots of activities but we pretty much just hung out at the lodge all weekend.

Simon was wonderful to deal with and quick to get back to me when I had a question. Highly recommend!! Can't wait to return as our group has decided it needs to be an annual trip!

My corporate work team rented out the entire Amee Lodge and had an amazing time. Simon and Jessica were fantastic to work with, and everything was so organized and turnkey for us on our stay.

Winter Wonderland

  • 5 of 5

We had a group of families stay with us at Amee during the holiday break. The house was the perfect set up. Plenty of room for us all to spread out on different floors. We had all of our dinner's catered in by Katie at Backdoor and it was amazing. We all ate at the big tables on the ground floor. The kids really enjoyed ping pong and pool. We had a great hie across the street on the trail along the river! overall amazing -
