A very nice experience

Overall, we were very pleased with this home away from home. I have a few minor "suggestions" near the end, but those minor comments should not detract from the positive. The "good" started with detailed instructions on how to find the complex and unit, get the key, find the covered parking, etc. No hitches at all. It continued with finding a thoroughly furnished residence from "starter refreshments" in the fridge, to an inviting hammock on the patio. The patio, ah, that patio. Although the residence is quite comfy, we found ourselves out on the patio most of the time. With a near constant breeze, amazing view of the coastline, the sound of Coqui frogs in the evening, the HAMMOCK!!, & it's up high enough to be in the mosquito-free zone. Although bugs usually find me in a crowd, I went the entire week with only one mosquito bite (and no bites from no-see'ums). The pool is steps away (1 level up) and an even more amazing view of the ocean. On the main level are several restaurants and some minor nightlife (the music was a little loud one night). The covered parking below was nice too. Note that the neighboring rental unit apparently tells their renters that they can pick between 3 parking spaces (including this unit's) so that needs to be straightened out. So continuing with the good, the kitchen was fully equipped, even with a blender (made some nice Pina Coladas). And the linens and towels all seemed clean and fresh. The floor was a spotless glistening tile. You get the picture. Now for my "suggestions" :) I'm overly sensitive about smells, and it seemed like the wicker furniture had a musty smell, although my wife didn't notice it. The elevator got stuck twice in one week, (once with us inside)! We rang the alarm bell and the technician came running and had us out in 8 min., but I'm fairly sure that the phone inside the elevator did not work (neither did our cellphones), and so I wonder what would happen if this was "after hours" ?? The shower head in the master bath didn't work, but we were able to use the other one. And I feel that had I reported it, the owner would've sent someone, but we didn't want to bother. The water heater switch should be marked. First night was a cold shower until we realized the switch in the kitchen was NOT for a light! The sliding door to the patio was sticking and hard to open. Again, these are all minor suggestions & would not stop us from returning (although we'll probably avoid the elevator).

Great stay

Nice apartment, even it is a little aged. Great location, close to the beach. Great view of the ocean and big balcony.

The only issue was not able to locate the lock box of the main entrance. The cleaning guy let us in fortunately.

Wonderful vacation stay for our whole group!

We were a group of 9, so we rented both the Vista Nena and The View condos for our stay. Stayed for a week, during Dec break.

Everything was just as we had been promised -- the properties were well maintained, we had ample linens and towels, and the kitchens in both units had all the tools and gadgets we needed. The outdoor grill was a very welcome amenity, we cooked out several nights. Also, Palmanova Plaza has not only restaurants, but also a small market and a fro-yo place, all very convenient.

Annette from the management company was extremely helpful and responsive to all our questions and needs, even on weekends.

We would def. recommend these properties to others, and if we should find ourselves in PR in the future, we will certainly consider staying here, again.

Veranda! Veranda! Veranda! What a perfect view!

Just returned from spending 9 days at Nena Vista and LOVED every one of them! This condo was the perfect choice for our San Juan vacation. We were a party of 2 couples and had complete privacy or enjoyed spending time together on the veranda. Then it was up to the rooftop pool for another spectacular view and sunshine. The covered parking and closeness to the elevator make things very conveient. There are yummy restaurants, ice cream and a market in the plaza so you don't have to even leave the property if you don't want to. It can get a little noisy at night because of that while trying to sleep but ALL the great things about Nena Vista outweigh that. The only thing not included is a golf cart which would make this experience complete and the best way to get around the huge property. They are available for rent however. We definitely will be returning to this piece of paradise hopefully VERY soon! John and Annette were amazing to work with and everything was a breeze and addressed quickly. Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing vacation and sharing this amazing condo! PS: Don't forget to count how many iguanas you can find in the trees below the veranda each day.

Beautiful! Will be back!

This was the perfect condo for our family. The pictures do not do the view justice, we thoroughly enjoyed the balcony and hammock (especially for breakfast). The condo was immaculate, it had everything we needed and amenities we hadn't remembered. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, cooking utensils and the welcome package was extremely thoughtful, it also had a washer and dryer which was very convenient. The pool on property also has a gorgeous view and the location of this condo at Palmas del Mar was perfect, shops were so close that we barely had to drive off the resort for anything. Property Management and housekeeping staff were extremely helpful and attentive to our needs. I will definitely be coming back to stay here.

Gorgeous view!

The condo was beautiful and just as described. Balcony and hammock were wonderful. I stayed with my husband and three children. Nice location in the building, right next to elevator and pool. View from pool was amazing. Anything you need right downstairs. The air conditioning worked great, however I think the refrigerator needs replaced. The door wouldn't close all the way unless you pushed it closed tight ( food got warm). We had a slight issue with parking. The guests in other property continually took our spot, even after I spoke with him. We were both given the same spot.. I guess a misunderstanding. The biggest disappointment was that the beaches are full of seaweed, strong currents and not safe to swim in.
