Clean and cheerful house

We found the house very clean and comfortable. We walked back and forth between downtown, a healthy walk, but very beautiful as one approaches downtown from the bluff. We also used Uber, a very reasonable fare to downtown and the airport. The kitchen was well equipped. We found groceries and a liquor store within blocks. We experienced unusually warm weather. so no air-conditioning was a minor drawback, but we spent a lot of time on the deck in the backyard anyway. Overall we had a wonderful time. Thanks, Janice!

Great location and plenty of room!

This house is easily accessible from the highway. It's a 5 minute stroll to the bluff that has a great view of downtown. As well, a fast food A&W, and a liquor store are a 2 minute walk. The grocery store and mall are about a 5 minute drive. The Deerfoot highway is about 10 away. We easily found our way to the Science Centre and Zoo, which were about 10 minute drive. The Princes Island park is close by in a 10 minute drive. There is parking in the back off the alley.

The house itself was large and adequately furnished. The kitchen was stocked with most needs. The linens were newer. The basement had low ceilings with low bulkhead but we're a short family and didn't mind. The basement included a crib and highchair for those with younger children. Mostly we enjoyed the back deck, BBQ and small grassy area.

Janice checked in with us promptly and was very helpful with our needs. This is a great home for a large family or multiple families. We would stay here again.

Lots of amenities so we didn't have to worry about bringing much. Great b location.

We had a great experience. 12 people stayed in this house, lots of free parking. Close to grocery stores. The house had everything we needed and more.

Highly Recommended

This was a great house to rent for the weekend especially with a bigger group. The rooms were comfortable and the house felt very homely and clean. There was ample space for all of us to sit and relax or even if we just wanted some private time in our rooms. The beds were really comfortable which was surprising considering that sometimes hotels beds can be uncomfortable. The house is also very well equipped with things like toothpaste, cooking oil, seasonings, detergent, etc so if you were to forget something, chances are it's already in the house. The location of the house is really wicked too with a few grocery stores within a 10 min walking distance. There are also quite a few restaurants, shops, liquor stores, etc very close by (via walking). Getting to downtown is relatively easy and inexpensive via cab. If you have to take a cab, it costs about $10-11, for a 10ish min drive. Not only did my friends and I enjoy the house, the host was extremely accommodating with any questions or concerns that we had, making this stay that much better; She honestly was one of the best hosts that I've dealt with. My friends and I are definitely going to be staying here again and would recommend to others as well.

Very comfortable house in a great location

We spent five nights staying in this house. It met all of our expectations. It was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped which allowed us to prepare most of our meals there.

There was plenty of room for our entire family. My wife and I were traveling with our four children who range in ages from 16 to 25. Each child had his or her own room with space left over. The two bathrooms worked well for a large family. The laundry facilities were helpful. The house had the fastest wireless internet that we experienced during our ten days traveling in Alberta.

The location is great. It is easy walking distance to downtown. Soon after arriving we walked to the park by the river and enjoyed an outdoor performance of Hamlet. We felt centrally located with an easy drive to any part of the city.

All aspects of our experience were positive.
