Beautiful house, perfect size but too closed in.

The house was the perfect size for us and had great amenities for our family. Very enjoyable view with the pond in the back yard.

However, we were extremely disappointed that all doors and windows were required to remain closed at all times, the alarms allowing you only about 5 seconds to slip in an out the doors to the pool before they'd go off. I envisioned having the sliding glass doors to the pool open during the day so we could walk freely in and out. I can understand keeping doors and windows closed when either heat or air is on but the weather was perfect for open doors while there. I hadn't see anything on the website regarding this restriction and did not have this restriction in an identical home in the same neighborhood that we rented two years ago.

The water in the pool seemed to "evaporate" overnight more that expected. A member of our group who had a pool for several years suggested we let you know you may have a leak in the pipes.

The security light over the front door was not working and there were no replacement bulbs in the home.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your feedback. The pool door alarms are not there to save on the electric bill but a safety device required by law. As quoted in your check in details: Continuous vigilance whilst in the pool area is essential. The property is fitted with the pool safety devices required by Florida Law either in the form of a mesh fence, pool door alarms or both. Perhaps the previous home you stayed in featured the fence or they were breaking the law. I am sorry you found this an inconvenience but for many it has saved a life.

Very lovely home

This is not the owners fault. It was unusually rainy and we had a small snake in the pool. I am crazy frightened by snakes so that ruined my vacation. Had I not been so scared, we would have had a wonderful time. We were told this had never happened before at this house. The house was very nice and clean.

Perfect Get Away Home

We stayed last week and found the home to be centrally located and easy to access. We we’re golfing and this was perfect for two couples. Lots of room.
