Loved the cabin, grounds and local area. The cabin is beautifully built and extremely well equipped. View is beautiful and changes with the weather, sunsets were stunning! We had mixed weather and found the cabin cozy when chilly and a great place to be when the sun came out. We loved the quiet location, convenient for great walks, but not too far from necessaries such as good store. Nothing to fault - would definitely book again!
Abbeywood cabin was truly a beautiful place to stay. It was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was well appointed. The owners, Linda and Ralph responded to our questions quickly. And our pet was welcome. It will become our home away from home when we come up to visit our son in college.
The cabin is beautifully furnished and very comfortable...even nicer than the photos and description show! Anything we could have needed was provided. We would love to stay at Abbeywood again!
Property is wonderful. The living room was a great place for family to gather and see our marine nephew before he left for Japan. It is a clean, cozy with a great location and view. Thank you for sharing.
The cabin was beautiful. The location was perfect and exactly what we wished for. Secluded, comfy, country home on the water. Close to fishing spots and easy access to stores for necessities. We had a great time relaxing in the cozy atmosprhere of this quaint cabin.
The cabin has a rustic charm with wood everywhere. The furnishing is nice and the layout is open and spacious. The cabin turned out better than expected because the living room has more couches than is pictured and the bunk-bed room has another bed as well. Additionally, the listing indicates there is no lake access, but the hill has a set of steep steps that will take you down to the lake. There is no railing and the stones are very slippery, so a park beach is still a better option, but there is a way to get to the lake shore. We would certainly rent this place again if we were staying in the area.
