About Cyndi & Mark

Our families have been vacationing in Falmouth for decades. Why fight lower Cape traffic--? As one of the most vibrant communities on Cape Cod...Falmouth has it all.

Cyndi & Mark purchased this house in 2014

Why Cyndi & Mark chose Teaticket

We fell in love with this property...the location is quiet and private. Although its close to beaches, shopping, and downtown, it provides the feel of Old Cape Cod. Nestled among the oaks on the bank of Perch Pond...your family can swim from the dock, kayak into Great Pond, or sit by the water to enjoy the views. Access to the Vineyard within 20 mins by boat or hop the ferry only minutes from the house. There is so much to do! The house is large and you'll never feel cramped even with a larger group. Come explore the wonders of Cape Cod.

What makes this house unique

Located down a private road, our home is large, sunny, and spacious. It offers families a private place to relax and get away from it all while enjoying the lovely views and gentle breezes from Nantucket Sound.

Beaches, shopping, site-seeing, fine dining or nature walks...There is so much to do in and around Falmouth...not sure where to begin!!!

We grew up N Falmouth, but fell in love with Teaticket...East (side of) Falmouth. We have special memories at Old Silver Beach of family gatherings, weddings, white sandy beaches, and breathtaking sunsets (be sure to shelter your snacks from seagulls!)...next door, the Sea Crest Beach Hotel offers catamaran rides for adventurous. For beaches, there are so many to choose from locally, Bristol Beach or Falmouth Heights is a little over a mile away or Menauhant Beach and the lovely Surf Drive Beach just a short drive; I've added a link for a clickable map of all Falmouth Beaches as well as a link to information about beach stickers.

If you're looking for great dining...C Salt is less than a mile or Oysters Two on Rt 28 south bound. If you're fond of margaritas and great guac, our family fav for Mexican is Anejo on Main Street downtown. Don't forget to cross over to Ben & Bills at 209 for best ice cream and finest chocolates on Cape Cod. Too many shops to single out any one specific, my daughter's favorite is Lily --but there is something for everyone---night time is the best experience. The streets are bustling --step into one of the local pubs for acoustic entertainment or Bear in Boots to hear the piano man from the loft. Take a stroll through the common or sit on a bench with an ice cream cone to experience the local character.

A visit to the Vineyard is a must--hop the Island Queen ferry only a mile plus from the house. Worth the trip! Will add more...

Magical and relaxing retreat for the whole family

  • 5 of 5

Our extended family stayed for a long weekend while on the Cape for a wedding. First, it’s breathtakingly beautiful - from the water views to the wildlife to the interior decor. Second, there is so much space to spread out... multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, two large living areas, a fully equipped (and gorgeous) kitchen, and little areas inside and out to make a phone call or build a puzzle. Third, the location is ideal. You feel very far away - but in reality the home is central to town, very close to the beach, etc. Explore or just stay put with the kayaks and comforts of home. We absolutely loved it and can not wait to return.

Beyond any expectation! Beautiful!

  • 5 of 5

This rental property was the best home we have rented for our bookclub annual retreat. Amazing setting on Great pond, beyond well stocked, decorated beautifully....ample sleeping accommodations for 12 very particular women. We had the best time shopping, eating out, relaxing-and especially enjoying the kayaks and canoe. If you are a boater, don't miss this! Anything you'd need to entertain, cook, be outdoors-it was all here and at your fingertips. I would SO rent this home for my family as a get away. Cindy was amazing to work with-communication exceptional, very nice recommendations. I give it a ten out of ten. EVERYONE loved this house. Thanks for making our 10th retreat wonderful.

Stunning retreat tucked away on the water

  • 5 of 5

You'd never expect to find this stunning home hidden at the end of an gravel drive leading into the woods but then our hit the end of the road, pop out of the woods, and see this beautiful home on Perch Pond. The owners leave tons of info about how to work everything in the house, provide clear guidance on things they'd like you to be careful with, and provide useful suggestions on places to go in the area. We were in town for a wedding and the bride loved getting ready in the downstairs master suite. We all enjoyed the view of Perch Pomd from the dock while we drank our morning coffee. It's such a nice scene, you almost don't want to go anywhere else! The only thing I wish was we could've stayed longer.

Compared to other prices in the area, this property is a bargain.

Owners were easy to get a hold of and responsive to questions. You could tell they loved this home. I hope I travel to the Cape with a large enough group to justify staying here again in the future.

My Family/Reunion (w Adult Children and spouses, Grand-Kids (one came from Germany) and visiting friends) thought the home was beautiful. Cynthia and Mike provided everything needed for all. We have rented homes at the Cape for quit a few years to bring our Family together. This was the best. Hope to be back again next year.

Thanks Cyndi and Mike...
