Emanuel Figueroa purchased this studio in 2005
The location, budget and relaxing time inside the nature.
Jacuzzi inside the studio while you can watch TV.
This was the first time we used a VRBO. I would recommend it to anyone. This place was all it promised and more. Dell the owner was very helpful and prompt with all communication. The condo, was simple but excellent. Kitchen was really nice to have when we just didn't want to go anywhere. Just pick up some groceries from store that is within walking distance. LOVED this place. Will definitely be back. Emanuel has the closet stocked with beach chairs and anything else you may need. I would definitely recommend this place. I know we will be back.
This condo is in a great, convenient location and a has large jacuzzi tub. The positives end there.
I don't usually stay in studio vacation rentals because I don't like having a bed in the living area. I chose this one because it advertised a Murphy bed and the photos depicted a nice, open living area. What a surprise to arrive and find a room with a full-size bed that did not fold into the wall as pictured. In addition, the unit and its condition were below standards for the many vacation homes I have rented. When the a/c unit was on, it dripped water into buckets on the balcony. When I arrived, both buckets were full and I had to empty them myself. There was almost no storage for clothes: no drawers and only a metal rack in a very cramped area behind the TV. This was a very sketchy area with electrical cords going every direction. The bathroom was very dimly lit and had no usable electrical outlet. The shower sprayed water onto the bathroom floor. The outlet by the bed was broken and scary-looking, and there was no bedside reading lamp. The kitchen had a tiny counter and the microwave on top of the refrigerator was hard to reach. The stove top looked like it had never been cleaned. The bed had no mattress cover, just a thin sheet being the only thing between guests and the top of the mattress. There were no hand towels, wash cloths, or kitchen towels.
Worst of all, Emanuel was not helpful at all, and there were no written instructions for anything, including a wifi password. Emanuel was supposed to meet me at the unit when I checked in, but he wasn't there. I learned he was out of town and a cleaning man who spoke zero English met me instead. Fortunately, I speak a little Spanish; otherwise, I would have been unable to communicate with him at all. Even Emanuel's English is not very clear, and when it caused a miscommunication about my arrival, he was very rude to me and threatened to withdraw the 2-hr. early check in we had agreed to. When the wifi quit working, I called to ask him for the information I needed (like the service phone number) and he NEVER returned my call. He also jacked up the price because I was there over New Year's - SO NOT WORTH IT. I was there 9 days and could not wait to move to the other unit I had reserved.
SO: If all you want is a crash pad, a place to shower and sleep, and a couple of TVs to watch, this dump should suit your needs. Just don't expect a nice, clean, comfortable, well-equipped condo. This isn't it.
When we arrived at the property the Manager kept us waiting in the lobby. We then went to the apt. there was no electricity. The Manager
told us the electricity was shut off in the wrong apt. He left us there
to try and take care of the problem. We were there for three hours
and never heard from him we went out to look for another apt.
While I was there I noticed that the dishes were not washed, they
were full of grease. No table to eat at except in the terrace.
No dresser, no closet. We never heard from the manager till
the evening looking for the keys to the apt. which we left inside. Never experienced anything like it, it was hot and humid and no
electricity. The accommodations were not well maintained.
I stayed here for a week at the end of October and I absolutely loved it! The place is in a great location close a lot of shops and restaurants and not to mention the bus stop that takes you to Old San Juan is right out front. The pool is amazing and the view of the beach is awesome. Emanuel was a great host and I would highly recommend people to stay here.
We enjoyed our stay here, as we were literally steps from the beach. The overall impression of the complex was that it could use a facelift, but the grounds & common areas were clean & well maintained. It was convenient to the store & restaurants.
The studio was clean & mostly comfortable, but if we were staying a week again, we would choose a little bigger accommodation. The bed was comfortable until the last couple of nights, where we wished for a regular bed (as opposed to the Murphy bed). I would also suggest a blender, but the kind neighbor across the hall loaned us one.
Emanuel was helpful & brought us chairs for the beach since previous renters apparently took the ones that were there.
We thoroughly enjoyed walking on the beach! There are food, drink & ice cream vendors close by, plus 3 bars next door. Our favorite place for lunch was Beach Bumz, where Pete served delicious fish tacos (once was grouper & once shark). What a nice guy! The vendors were not pushy, even when you stopped to look at their wares.
Old San Juan was an hour bus ride, but was totally worth seeing. I wish we had gone back on another day. The fort we went to was an absolutely amazing place. I was in awe the whole time we toured it.
We had rain 3 days, but it was warm (unlike the single digit temps we came home to), so it wasn't that bad.
We would definitely return for another visit.
Me and my wife spent our honeymoon here and it was amazing! Located in Isla Verde so there are plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from. The beach is amazing and we enjoy a night at The Hotel San Juan lobby. The studio was very romantic and clean.Overall a very nice vacation! Thanks again for the rental Emanuel.
