Biking: Bring your bikes and ride the trails along the Delaware River down to Lambertville or up to Milford.
Our small group of friends loved staying at this property over New Years weekend. The owner was very helpful and responsive to our pre-trip questions. We loved the design and flow of the space - very comfortable for our group of 6 adults and two kids (under 4). Our 3 year old especially enjoyed all the toys and the connected room (with a full bed for adults and a twin with trundle for kids) was perfect for our family. The town of Frenchtown was a quick walk away and we found it quite charming. Early Bird for coffee and Olive with a Twist for specialty cheese, fresh bread and olive oils were our favorites.
We stayed in this house as a family the first week of September with grandma and two toddlers. The house is very comfortable and has everything you need for both indoors and outdoors. We enjoyed the pool. Took day trips to Sesame place and a pick your own farm. Beds are very comfortable. House very clean with an old school charm but all the modern amenities. Kitchen fully equipped. Toys for the kids. Would love to stay there again.
We very much loved this house and were really unhappy that we booked it only for three nights. Everything was well prepared and organized by Melissa. Thank you very much.

My girlfriend and I were just looking for a house with a pool and grill to relax over a long weekend and our stay here was just what we needed. The house is super charming and wonderfully decorated, it's clearly a second home that is used frequently and has nearly everything you could need during your stay. Melissa is very helpful and very quick in responding to any questions and it felt like we were renting from a family friend in speaking with her. While the houses in the neighborhood are a bit close to each other, there was a lot of privacy here given the tree cover and fences around neighboring homes (though you could definitely hear the neighbors and their dogs but none of that really bothered us). We didn't venture out much but the town is very cute and you can easily walk downtown and to the river. It is in the country so fair warning, there are a lot of bugs! (The firefly's at night are great to watch though from the patio) Overall we had a wonderful time here and would absolutely go back - the house is wonderful, the owners are very nice and easy to deal with, and the location / proximity to NYC is very convenient. Thanks Melissa!
The house is spacious, well stocked, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We had three young boys who went crazy for the toys in the house, and the kitchen was perfect for socializing and making big meals.
We'd love to come back.
We stayed here to attend a friends wedding nearby. The house is even cuter than pictured! I think what makes this property as a vacation rental so special is that it's clearly NOT just a vacation rental, it's their second home. And you can tell! Every detail has been thought of for what you need to function and enjoy the home (which is really hard to do when you don't live there!) The location was FANTASTIC, it really is walking distance to downtown Frenchtown which is so precious and there were fun little touristy things to do in the immediate area with our 1.5 year old daughter while we were there for the wedding. Lastly, I'll mention how lovely it was staying at a home that had extra kid gear tucked away in the corners (new toys!). And you would never notice the kid gear unless you were looking for it. But it was a blast for our daughter to play with the toys at the house, climb the ladder next to the tree outside and use the swing. We definitely plan on coming back here with another family when we want a weekend out of the city.
