Upon check-in you'll receive your own keyless security code to let you into your new home away from home. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen bed. The second bedroom has a daybed that folds out comfortably into a king size bed or can just be used as a twin bed. There's also an additional twin bed in the second bedroom. There's a full size kitchen, a large living room, and laundry. The 10 foot ceilings and large windows make the home feel even larger than it is. This historic home was completely remodeled in 2010 and includes different residences, but it still has its old character and charm from 1915. There's a large fully fenced back yard with a patio set perfect for a relaxing afternoon.

Location is everything! Stay in one of the most trendy and historic neighborhoods in Austin. The location is ideal for families or anyone that would like to be close to all of the attractions that Austin has to offer, but also a quiet, relaxing, and safe neighborhood and home to come back to after exploring.

Walk a few blocks and you can have breakfast or coffee at one of the best bakeries in Austin, shop at a local grocery store, have lunch at several restaurants, view the many early 1900 Victorian homes, or an afternoon snack at a local sandwich shop that's been open since 1909. If you want to travel somewhere farther away in Austin, the bus route is on the next street. Hop right onto the bus and go anywhere for $1. If you need any recommendations on places to eat or see in Austin, we are more than happy to help any time.

We are family friendly and can accommodate children 5 years old or older. Total of 4 people includes any children.

Pleasant Stay

Had a great stay. The location of the house is awesome. Easy to take buses places. Lots of good food in the area and things to do. Bathroom is a little small for having multiple people staying there and the shower isn't very good. Nice to have laundry facilities. Easy check in and check out. Overall, great house.

Two Months of

This home was clean, roomy, and comfy! Hubby and I enjoyed our two month stay and plan to return. Hyde Park is our favorite neighborhood in Austin. The house sits on a corner in this historic neighborhood, which is full of big, beautiful trees, homes with pride of ownership and friendly people. Cafes and restaurants are just a short walk away on Duval and two goats live up the street! (hint: Clementine and Rosebud love Trader Joe's 'Inner Peas' and unsalted roasted nuts. Yummers!) Pete (owner/manager) was prompt, responsive and helpful whenever called upon. This is a well cared for property and we've already re-booked post New Orleans. Thanks for a great experience Pete!

Hyde Park Home

A lovely home in a lovely neighborhood. Clean, roomy, and comfy! We truly enjoyed our stay here. We stayed for two months and plan to return after a our trip to New Orleans. Hyde Park is a historic neighborhood full of beautiful trees, homes, people and goats! Clementine and Rosebud (the goats) live just up the block, with a coop full of chickens, and all neighbors are welcome to drop-in for a visit (hint: they love Trader Joe's Inner Peas and unsalted roasted nuts). A peaceful oasis close to cafes and restaurants on Duval. The property is well maintained and accurately described. Pete (owner/manager) was very responsive and helpful. Looking forward to returning!
