Beautiful, family-friendly home in Queen Anne

  • 5 of 5

My family had a fabulous stay at Jill's home. Her home is beautiful, had plenty of amenities for adults and kids alike, was a two block walk from a beautiful park, and located within the terrific Queen Anne neighborhood. We were within a short ride of Seattle Center and all other key sites. I would highly recommend this rental, particularly to families with kids. Thanks, Jill!

After Exhaustive Research, I Found the Best Place to Stay in Queen Anne!

  • 5 of 5

This delightful Queen Anne house exudes comfy warmth and metro-urban style. The three of us each had our own bedroom and agreed that all the beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was easy to navigate and cook in (both Trader Joe's and Safeway were within easy walking distance). And, the shady backyard with ample seating was an unexpected happy bonus for laid-back evenings at home. The location is great, just a few blocks from Kerry Park in one direction and the fun shops and restaurants of the Queen Anne neighborhood in another. For ventures beyond Queen Anne, we found ride sharing (e.g., Uber) to be a quickly available, cheap and and easy alternative to renting a car (though there's space to park one). Each of us (ranging in age from 68 to 19) agreed we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Peaceful retreat near big city activities, great for families

  • 5 of 5

We were in Seattle for my daughter's wedding, and we used the house as a "home base" for a very busy weekend of activities. Nicely decorated and comfortable, with a full kitchen (I cooked dinner for both families one night), a peaceful backyard patio, and good internet access. Parking in back for one car, and guest pass available for a second. Lots of toys for kids (but mine are a little too old). Five minutes to both the Queen Anne Thursday Farmer's market and Trader Joe's, 10 minute walk to Seattle center (former Worlds Fair site now cultural center), 2 minutes from buses that run downtown and to the Pike Market. I did not want to leave.

The owner was a good communicator and refunded my deposit very promptly.

Perfect Family House

  • 5 of 5

We were in Seattle for a wedding and Jill's house in Queen Anne was an awesome home base for our family. It is a short walk to two great parks (both with playgrounds for the kids), ice cream, restaurants and Trader Joe's. And as this is Jill's family's primary residence, there is lots of things that you wouldn't normally find in a rental - tons of toys (Lego galore!), travel crib, and a toddler chair were all available to us. Would definitely stay here again - thank you Jill for your hospitality!!

Great Place for a Family!

  • 5 of 5

Besides the excellent location in the Queen Anne Hill neighborhood (within walking distance of everything), this rental was perfect for our extended family. Our children had plenty of toys to play with, and all the rooms were comfortable.

For the value, this was an excellent choice that we would gladly stay in again!

Perfect for our family with two little kids

  • 5 of 5

This house was exactly what we hoped for during our visit to Seattle this summer. It's a nice and comfortable place - clean, well cared for, and plenty of space. The location is great with lots within walking distance (top pot!). We had four adults and two little kids and there was plenty of space for everyone. The kids especially loved the basement rec/play area stocked with toys (they would have been happy just staying down there during our entire trip). The adults especially loved sitting on the front porch in the morning.
