About Lani and Sky
Hi! We are Sky and Lani and we graciously welcome you to our condo! Lani has lived on Kauai for much of her life, and was born and raised near Tunnels Beach on the North Shore. Life adventures beyond the islands however, eventually brought her to the mainland and abroad. She spent her high school days in Santa Cruz California before turning interests towards colder climates and getting into skiing. Between travels abroad, Lani worked primarily in outdoor industries for the better part of a decade, mostly kayaking and skiing and living in amazing rural towns. One of her favorite of those towns was Jackson Hole Wyoming, where she lived for several years before moving back to Kauai. Coincidentally, Sky was born and raised in Jackson Wyoming where he became an avid snowboarder in the winter, fly fisherman in the summer and world traveller whenever possible in between. Despite his mountain upbringing, Sky has always been a and a waterman and was inevitably called to a warmer climate. Eventually island life, with its enticing warm water and fragrant trade winds beckoned both of us individually to the Garden Island of Kauai where we met in 2011. We've found a happy match as we are both very active and love to explore and laugh. We've found our perfect paradise here on Kauai and wouldn't want to live anywhere else! As a team we really enjoy sharing what we love about Kauai with our guests and offer our local knowledge and recommendations in addition to providing exceptional quality accommodation. We want to ensure that our guests have as much fun and as little worries as possible on their visits to Kauai.
Lani and Sky purchased this Condo in 2013
Why Lani and Sky chose Princeville
Paniolo is great for several significant reasons. One of the biggest is the convenience of the location. Princeville is filled with circuitous streets with major speed bumps that take a toll on island car. Paniolo is perfectly situated in a prime spot where we are able to avoid these confusing and speed bump littered roads. When driving into the Princeville community the Paniolo complex is the first group of buildings you will pass making it quick, easy to find and allowing you freedom from the Princeville traffic!
What makes this Condo unique
Paniolo #211 is positioned strategically to be quiet. Some faint sounds of the cars during the day can be heard, but mostly the sounds of bird songs, warm trade winds through the Java Plum trees, and the waves on Anini beach are all thats heard. A quiet and peaceful unit this is!

Cozy and comfy.
We had a great stay and we enjoyed Princeville.
Thank you for the review Kent! :)
We really appreciate it, and we are happy you enjoyed your time on Kauai!
Warm Alohas and big hugs,
Lani and Sky
Excellent stay in a cozy place
Our stay was most excellent. For being in a multi-unit property, there's actually a decent amount of privacy on the second floor. Our back patio looked out on trees, so we didn't feel like folks could look right in on us. Sky and Lani had a great binder with local recommendations. We were able to walk down to the shopping center for morning coffee and snacks, and a lot was available nearby. On this island, there's not a lot of difficulty getting around, and we really had no problems! Thanks you two for a most excellent stay!
We are so happy you enjoyed your time in the condo!
We appreciate the review very much, and we hope your travels were absolutely amazing!
Big hugs and lots of aloha,
Sky and Lani
Lani and sky were friendly informative helpful hosts....their condo has character and was very clean
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lani and Sky s condo....I would definitely stay there again...they also had super nice beach chairs for our use and the location was great for a stay in the North part of Kauai...groceries and shops and great food very close at princeville shopping center. The sheets on the bed were so soft that I asked Lani where I could purchase some for my bed at home😃!
Thank you for the great review! We love it so much!
Yes, those sheets are great. They are Spalena brand and we have had amazing success with them. They are so soft and they hardly wrinke! Winner!
Warmest wishes from Kauai,
Lani and Sky
Very nice and peaceful condo
Really liked the space. It was close to a few stores and restaurants as well as a short walk to Anini Beach. You could hear a lot of the birds and bugs chirping at night which was relaxing for me.
Very clean, everything was in excellent working order, the bed was comfortable.
The location is quiet, full of flowers and beautiful landscaping. Perfect location. The condo had quality pots and pans, quality blender, coffee pot and toaster. Refrigerator was compact but fit all our food and I cooked every day.
We are so happy your time in the condo was great, and we really appreciate the review!
We trust your back is healing up nicely, and we hope the sun and sand helped the healing process for you. ;)

Everything we needed was here. There's no A/C (many places on the island don't have A/C) but that wasn't an issue; the high ceilings, many windows, and fans kept plenty of good airflow; we even got a bit chilly at night. The extra amenities/equipment available for use were really helpful. Plenty of shops nearby (there's a Foodland member card that comes with the place, definitely use it as it'll save you money). Very comfy and relaxing, would stay again for sure.
Many key amenities are within walking distance (grocery, post office, eateries, library, bus stop, shops) and every one of the amazing North Shore scenic attractions can be accessed within minutes. This bungalow-style, one bedroom condo, is fully outfitted with a kitchenette, making it easy to bring groceries home to make your meals affordable. Located on the second floor with high ceilings, the condo takes advantage of the reliable trade winds keeping it cool and airy. Your ideal private home to unwind and feel away from everything, yet conveniently close to all the wonderful adventures the North Shore has to offer.
From your condo you can view the surrounding mountains and cascading waterfalls, while the Princeville community has miles of trails to walk or run for you to take in even more of these views. There are many gems stashed nearby as well (all just minutes away): take a dip in Queen's Bath, look for whales from the Princeville bluffs or spot turtles while exploring the rocky shore. Snorkel at Hideaways beach, surf Hideaways break or take the path to Anini beach (that passes right by the condo) for a pleasant walk to discover a sweet shoreline with calm protected waters. Venture further and find Anini Beach Park, where you can swim/snorkel (turtles frequent here) in a calm lagoon. Beyond Princeville on the North Shore, you can surf at world class surf spots, swim, snorkel or beachcomb at countless pristine beaches, visit a National Botanical Garden, find caves, experience a luau, browse great local shops and even pick up some locally grown fruits and vegies at one of the local farmer's markets.
Other Activities: Yoga, kayaking, dolphin/whale watching, scenic boat and air tours, deep sea fishing, stand-up Paddleboarding, boogy boarding, surfing lessons, luaus, hiking.
Golf: Princeville courses include: The Prince Course, Makai Course and Woods 9 Course. Check online for fees. All Princeville courses have been designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr.
The Prince Course is a renown, challenging 18 hole course that has been called one of the most beautiful golf courses in the world. With views of the majestic mountains and the Pacific ocean, the Prince Golf Course would be any golfer’s dream to play on. A multi-million renovation was completed in spring 2012, overseen by the original architect, Robert Trent Jones, Jr. The Prince course is Ranked as Golf Digest’s #1 Golf Course in Hawai’i and one of America’s Top 100 Greatest Courses, the Prince Golf Course is an 18-hole Championship Course
