I am an avid snowboarder, skier, kayaker, mountain biker, hiker and fly fisher woman. I'm so proud of my mountain home here in Sun Peaks. I also own a beautiful SKI IN, SKI OUT townhome in Trails Edge at Sun Peaks. If my Stones Throw home is not available, check it out! (VRBO #452899).
Have an awesome vacation at Sun Peaks! I look forward to you enjoying my paradise home as much as I do!
Trish purchased this condo in 2006
Sun Peaks Village is a magical place to be all year round. There are endless activities to participate in. It caters to all-comers: families with children, singles, a wonderful place to create special and long lasting memories!
The property was ideal for our family. Had a wonderful time and enjoyed every minute. Hot tub after skiing surely adds nicely to the day. Nice and clean and well maintained. Totally recommend this unit. Thanks very much!
We stayed here from January 3rd to 8th, 2016 for a family vacation. The stay was good, but the skiing was amazing. The condo is nice and well appointed, with all amenities. The location is decent but not the best. It is a ski in, provided you skate for a bit, or can get enough speed up to make it across some flats. Ski out is to the Morrisey chair right across the road.
The suite has some finishing issues, with none of the heated floors working and silicone missing around the bathroom sink allowing water to drip into vanity, but overall it is a very good space. The beds were not overly comfortable, and one of the couches were terribly uncomfortable. There are very limited TV channels as well, which is an issue when you have four kids. Overall, it is a good space. I would stay again.
We had our best ski trip as a family. the townhouse was nice and perfect for our family of five. we normally eat out on vacation but the kitchen was great and we were able to cook / eat in most meals.
it was very convenient - we could walk into the village, ski-in, ski-out no problem.
the private hot tub overlooking the mountains was a real treat.
sunpeaks itself is wonderful.
This unit was convenient for all four adults. We made good use of the kitchen and ate many meals in the unit. The parking was VERY tight. We had a full size van and it was very difficult to park in the allotted space.
The unit was well located, we were able to Ski In/Ski out. It was a 10 minute walk to the village. The hot tub was a big bonus, we used that every day after skiing.
It would have been nice if we had been provided with more information about the unit itself and the area. We would like to know how to work the TV's, the fireplace, the washer/dryer etc. It would be nice to have trail maps and information about the resort and restaurants, even take out menus.
We would return to Sun Peaks and we would recommend this unit.
Note: We were surprised to learn that the price of the unit was in US dollars and there was nowhere on the site that indicated this. We were not aware until we received our credit card bill. It would be nice to know this upfront.
We enjoyed our stay at this sun peaks condo. It was clean and the beds were comfy. It was convenient that it was just across the road from the ski-in (you can buy your tickets at this lift) and we enjoyed a couple of nice walks through the trails to the village in the evening. We enjoyed the view from the large windows and the lovely trees and birds across from the hot tub! Our biggest complaint would be that the kitchen knives could use a sharpening and extra towels for the hot tub would be great.... Although the washer and dryer was right there when needed. So all in all a great place!
