This Direct Gulf Front Corner unit Penthouse condo has 2 Bedrooms/2 Baths and is Newer Construction built in 2004. Unique to the top floor are Higher Ceilings and Skylights that bring in more light. This unit has many upgrades including Granite in the Kitchen with Stainless Appliances, Upgraded Vanities and Granite Counters in the Baths, Hard Wood Floors in the Bedrooms, and Tile through out. The unit is also beautifully furnished with Tommy Bahama style decor. In addition, we provide beach chairs, umbrella, play pen, and a few other items so you don't have to pack additional luggage.
Located within minutes to dozens of restaurants and bars, tennis courts, skate park, fishing, paddling boarding, shopping, and 45 minutes from Busch Gardens and 1.5 hrs from Disney World.

Having been a native of Florida I can say it's the Best Beach town near a major city like Tampa. There's Spring Training, Amusement Parks, and more.
Beach activities - Boating, Fishing, Stand Up Paddle Boarding SUP, Bike Riding down the beach, visiting the best Restaurants that are located on the Beach.
The condo is nicely decorated and in good shape. Kitchen is well supplied and dishes and glasses are not scummy from the water as I have seen in other places. Only negative was there were not any beach chairs in the unit. We ended up buying cheap chairs to use which were not very comfortable. Hope to be able to stay in this condo on our next visit
What a wonderful place! The unit itself was very well maintained and clean. The view from the balcony is unmatchable, providing a clear view of the Gulf with high quality patio furniture. The condo is stocked with kitchen essentials (dish ware, coffee maker, pots/pans), linens (including beach towels), and beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, cooler, beach balls, etc.) - this helps ease the stress of packing and makes the stay very convenient. The pool area is nice and clean with plenty of seating. Covered parking on the ground floor was great to keep the car cool during the heat of the day. The beach itself is great - it’s a good size and not overly crowded like you’ll find in Clearwater. Hilda was great to work with, making the booking process smooth and answering all the questions we had prior to arrival.
In terms of nearby restaurants and things to do, there are several places that are certainly walkable. Guppy’s and Keegan’s are great dinner options. There’s also a nice bakery a couple blocks over. Many other dining options are a short 5-10 minute drive away. Clearwater Beach is a 5-10 minute drive, John’s Pass is 15-20, Treasure Island is 20-25, and Tampa is about 40-45. Airport is 20-25 minutes from the condo.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience. If you are looking for a beach getaway that is close to everything yet outside of the major congestion/overcrowded beaches/over-commercialized high-rises, then this is the place to go. We’ll definitely be returning to IRB and look forward to staying here again!

Wow, where do I begin? First of all, we love Indian Rock Beach! We are considering buying a unit, but this was a nightmare. Don't expect to get your security money back and here are the problems with the unit discussed directly with Hildi. You will never hear from Frank, and after many attempts to contact him, he will never contact you!
For the price we paid, let me tell you how I would improve this unit.
-replace the shower door in the master bathroom
-get new lounge chairs by the pool
-have the garbage picked up more regularly than once a week where it is not overflowing out of the dumpster
-invest in some new beach towels and bath towels. These are so thin.
-invest in new pots and pans considering of the Teflon has been eroded
-invest in a new butcher block where the knives are not just broken but they're also not rusted
-leave a brand-new kitchen sponge for the new tenants each time
-leave at least five pellets for the dishwasher for each tenant
-replaced all the throw rugs and area rugs in the unit.
-invest in new kitchen accessories/gadgets/utensils. They are old and junkie and I would never use them in my home. You need to get quality kitchen shears that are not rusted and falling apart as well as new tongs and new cutting boards
-there should be at least a shower caddy in the master bathroom but ideally, both bathrooms.
-you should have an owners closet instead of a junk drawer in the kitchen that includes a hammer sandpaper a dropcloth ruler, painters brushes and pliers.
-you should invest in some really nice dish towels and plates that are consistent and match
-I would also invest in some new placemats considering the ones that were here are old and gross and dirty.
-screen on porch needs to roll smoothly on tracks & not come off when you slide it.
I was met with opposition on every one of these items!! She blamed us for her screen and told us she was taking it off of our deposit.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.
Also, most importantly, I genuinely believe they tried something unscrupulous by going around paying VRBO because they emailed me directly and my unit was never listed under my trips like all of my other VRBO's.
We stayed here with our three young sons, ages 3, 5, 7. I chose this condo because of the heated pool and the proximity to the beach. I wanted to be able to move among the beach/pool/condo easily and this was perfect for us. The condo itself was very clean and well maintained. Lots of storage and plenty of linens. There were beach toys, beach towels and nice chairs to use, and it wasn't a big deal lugging them to/from the condo because of the elevator. This condo is a corner unit and on the top floor so every room has windows and it even has skylights in the hallway. The condo is very quiet too. The balcony may be the best part - amazing views of the water and all the way north as well. We walked to the playground at Kolb park, went to Splash Harbour Water Park and ate at a few of the many great places to eat around the condo. My only feedback to the owner is that the bed linens and pillows in the master bedroom were so cheap and uncomfortable. Definitely not one of those beds you look forward to diving into at the end of a day in the sun and sand. Other than that, it was an awesome and easy vacation for our family - we hope to come back next year.
Wonderful condo! Unbeatable view! Heated pool and hot tub. Plenty of room and very comfortable beds. Owners are very easy to work with. We had a great week!
