Why Lynn Averett chose Coastal Oregon

My wife loves the beach, the ocean, good food and art, and I love to fish the ocean bays and meet new people. We have both been coming to Bandon for over 25 years. The Coquille River is one of my favorite rivers to fish. We love to explore the antique shops or just walk along the beach.

What makes this townhome unique

We are either a short drive or walk to many of the unique amenities of Bandon. We are near all the activities yet far enought away to have some seculsion. Boating, fishing, crabbing or just walking the beach are just a few of the thing that can be enjoyed. Or just sit out on the deck and watch the storms roll in with both a beautiful Sunset or Sunrise. Eat at a wonderful spot or have a pizza delivered. Relax and be refreshed and enjoy sharing our Bandon Bungalow.

Newly built Two-Story Townhouse, private property in the center of Bandon but still enjoys wonderful privacy. Locals call this area the donut hole. Mid-sized custom townhouse designed and built as a vacation rental for groups or couples wanting to vacation together, or can be rented upper story only or studio only downstairs. Great for entertaining, playing cards, watching a movie or ballgame, or just relaxing by the gas fired stove after a day enjoying scenic Bandon. The beautiful fully equipped upstairs kitchen, with dining room attached to the living room makes a great place for family gatherings. Master bedroom with spa tub - so nice. Outdoor decks(one upstairs, one downstairs) make it very enjoyable to view the country setting, listen to the ocean or enjoy the sunshine and the cool ocean breeze. Downstairs bedroom (really a large studio with kitchenette and private bathroom) can be rented alone also. Upstairs sleeps 5, downstairs sleeps 3. Or, 8 total for whole house of course.

Perfect Place and Awesome Owners

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here last year in July for a golf/hiking trip. We used to stay at Bandon Dunes, but Larry and Lynn's place is perfect. The place is remodeled, has all the kitchen amenities, and is very peaceful. We are going to be staying there again this summer and this is now our go to spot for our Bandon excursions. Can't find a better place to stay and Larry/Lynn are amazingly responsive and helpful. Literally not a single complaint. Can't wait to return this July!

Golf getaway

  • 2 of 5

We came to Bandon for a golfing trip to Bandon Dunes & to visit the wine country and Oregon coast. This house itself was nice and we were comfortable here, but the neighborhood was horrible and we were so sorry we didn't stay where you could see their beautiful beach! Would not recommend this property unless you don't mind your surroundings!

Owner's Response: Hmmm. So you arrived early, desperate to gain access, which we allowed though we usually don't before additional payment is made. You were confused on your dates, attempted to convince us we were overcharging you by one day, you cancelled a fishing trip we had blocked time for, since your golf date conflicted with it, and when it came time to pay you were angry with us over the booking charge that VRBO charges that you had already paid.??? Before that last horrible call from you, Larry and I talked it over, and since your wife seemed so very nice and really sincere when she told us you loved the place, it reminded you of your daughter's house and told us you were having a great time, we thought wow, these folks really need a vacation they seem so confused and mixed up. I (perhaps foolishly) reduced your two extra days charge by a substantial amount mostly because your wife seemed so very kind and appreciative of all that we had done. I am still pondering the conversation you and I had when I FINALLY heard back from you and we were arranging payment. You THEN made your complaints on the last day of your stay, and kept pausing, hoping that the $140.00 reduction I made in your bill would perhaps increase? We do not claim to be beachfront property - why , at the end of the stay did you ream me for that? I am truly dumbfounded Mr. C. We have had so many wonderful folks book and re-book with us. Never has any guest been so ungrateful for so many concessions we made for your mistakes. I respectfully request that you do not book with us again. I am addressing this not to Harriet, who left us cinnamon rolls and a lovely note, but to you my friend Mr. C. I enjoy extending hospitality to my guests but this was truly a bizarre experience. Lynn

Very relaxing home with pretty much everything you would need!

  • 5 of 5

Very Nice home conveniently located to Bandon Dunes. Ideal for two male golfers or two couples. Very well stocked kitchen with all appliances and utinsels. Comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Nice deck on the back, although the grill did not work while we were there. (This wasn't a huge deal as we found Tony's crab shack was better then our grilling capabilities!) A rather sketchy looking neighborhood, but but don't let that dissuade you. The rental was flawless and the owners were accommodating and easy to reach if needed. Will rent again if I come back !
