A week in advance we were in contact with UrHome about an appartment and they let us down the very day before we would fly to Philadelphia from Holland. Luckily Ali and her Partner Hank, who responded to our mail quickly, were able to rent their appartment to us on this very short notice. The communication between Ali & Hank and us, was great. If we had a question, we got a fast reponse. The appartment is spacious, has 2 bedrooms, a big living room with cable TV and a kitchen. Between the living room and the main bedroom there's a bathroom. On the hallway there is a shared Laundry room, which comes really in handy if you are staying for a longer period and/or with a newborn baby. The appartment also has an elevator which is convenient for a stroller. We were living right above an organic supermarket, across the appartment's building there's a 7eleven and a CVS in less than 10 minutes walking. The location was very convenient for us as we could walk to almost all must sees in less than 45 minutes. When we come back to Philadelphia in a couple of years, we would rent here again
This apartment is stunning, and in the best location! Having lived in Philadelphia previously it was a treat to be able to stay in the heart of Rittenhouse and have access to all of the city's amenities, such as restaurants, museums and recreational activities within walking distance. The apartment description is very accurate - looks brand new, and the renovation was extremely well done in that it still maintains the beautiful architectural details of the original structure.
Renaissance was a great company to work with - very responsive, clean apartment, flexible with arrival/departure, etc.
