This place is in a great location and is very clean and modern. 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and lots of room. The whole booking process was smooth and easy and there was very good contact and response times with Antonella. She was warm and friendly and very helpful. Sehr empfehlenswert

  • 5 of 5

We spent 5 nights in the beautiful apartment. It was super clean with really everything you could ever need (even an emergency kit with bandages!).

The decor was very tasteful, the area seemed very quiet and safe and all the shops are nearby.

The location is really good, it is only 5min to the metro station and about 20 minutes at Timesquare.

If we are in New York again, definitelywe will come again. Thank you, Antonella

Wonderful apartment in lovely Park Slope

  • 5 of 5

We are a family of 5 (three grown up daughters) and stayed in the apartment over Christmas. The apartment was ideal for us. The sofa bed was very comfortable so we didn't mind having the two bedrooms as we were grateful for the 2 bathrooms! The apartment was lovely and the owners very helpful and prompt with replying to any questions we had. The apartment is near lots of restaurants, shops and subway options and we were delighted with it. We would have no hesitation in recommending the apartment. Brooklyn is a lovely area to stay yet near enough to all the Manhattan tourist spots.

We'll be back again!

  • 5 of 5

We just returned from a three day/four night stay in this lovely apartment conveniently located two blocks from where our daughter lives in Park Slope. We have stayed in a local hotel on two prior occasions and will not go that route again. This ground floor apartment is immaculate with stylish, up-to-date decor that combines all the the modern amenities and conveniences with the character of a historic New York Brownstone. After several full days and evenings of sightseeing in Manhattan with our son and his girlfriend, it was perfect to return to Park Slope with our daughter and to this apartment which is located in a lovely, safe, family-friendly residential area convenient to restaurants, several grocery stores and subway access. Antonella, the owner was very responsive to our questions and written information was also available with apartment guidelines and suggestions for local activities and dining in Brooklyn. We especially enjoyed walking around DUMBO and across the iconic Brooklyn Bridge. We will definitely arrange to stay here again in the future!

Bright, comfortable apartment in a great neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

Three of us stayed in this lovely apartment for five nights in early December. We were very comfortable -- good beds, brand new kitchen and bathrooms -- and the owners were 100% responsive to our few requests. It is in a quiet family neighborhood of brownstones but just one block away from the activity of Brooklyn's 5th Avenue.

The weather was chilly so we didn't spend time on the patio, but it was nice to look out the window onto a little bit of green.

This place is a great bargain, especially compared to similar rentals in Manhattan. Several subway stops are within walking distance, and we went to other areas of Brooklyn and up into Manhattan easily.

I do not hesitate to recommend this rental. Thank you, Antonella!

About Owner/Property Manager

We are a family who loves living in and experiencing Brooklyn, a vibrant part of Brooklyn, New York.

Born in New York, we have traveled extensively and we speak several languages, enough to have a fun conversation: English, Spanish, Italian and French. We recently finished renovating completely this apartment in one of the best neighborhoods in New York!

Come stay in our property! We'd love to share this beautiful brownstone with you.

You will have total privacy but we will be there to help with anything you need if you ask us.

We can't wait to meet you!

Why Owner/Property Manager chose Park Slope

One of Brooklyn’s best neighborhoods, Park Slope offers an amazing array of meticulously renovated brownstone and limestone townhouses. This apartment vacation rental is located in the ground floor of a brownstone built in 1874, just a short walking distance from the beautiful Prospect Park. The 1890 census showed Park Slope to be the richest community in the United States.

Car: not necessary

If you’ve ever wondered where hip people go when they grow up, the answer lies in Brooklyn - Park Slope, to be exact. This idyllic yet unfailingly cool neighborhood, is considered one of New York City's most desirable neighborhoods. In 2010, it was ranked number one in New York by New York Magazine citing its quality public schools, dining, nightlife, shopping, access to public transit, green space, quality housing, safety, and creative capital, among other aspects.

It was named one of the 'Greatest Neighborhoods in America' by the American Planning Association in 2007, 'for its architectural and historical features and its diverse mix of residents and businesses, all of which are supported and preserved by its active and involved citizenry.'

In December 2006, Natural Home magazine named Park Slope one of America's ten best neighborhoods based on criteria including parks, green spaces and neighborhood gathering spaces; farmer’s markets and community gardens; public transportation and locally-owned businesses; and environmental and social policy

Park Slope features historic buildings, top-rated restaurants, bars, and shops, as well as proximity to Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, the Brooklyn Museum, the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, and the fact that it is so close to Manhattan.

Stroll through the brownstone-edged streets and it’s all too easy to see what drew the cool kids to these parts. Romanesque revival townhouses and Queen Anne-style homes fill the landmark historic district next to the lush expanse of Prospect Park.

The Brooklyn Museum holds court in all its Beaux-Arts glory, bringing culture and cutting-edge art to New York’s most populous borough. The Brooklyn Botanic Garden provides Mother Nature with a stage for her exquisite tricks, from the exuberant blooming of the cherry blossom trees during spring to the explosion of fiery leaves come autumn.

To meet the demands of its exacting population, Park Slope’s restaurant and bar scene is vibrant and varied. Locally sourced 'New American' fare is as easy to come by as Filipino dishes, and bartenders are well-versed in microbreweries, vintage bourbons and classic cocktails.

Since the mid-1990s younger, childless professionals who in previous decades would most likely have lived in Manhattan have been moving to the neighborhood in ever-increasing numbers. Gentrification has also overflowed. The influx of these new upper middle class residents have made Park Slope one of the wealthiest neighborhoods in Brooklyn.

It is a big neighborhood, however the main streets are Fifth Avenue and Seventh Avenue. Many restaurants, bars, boutiques, shops with different amenities are abundant in these two main streets. One of the greatest advantages in Park Slope are the large quantities of Brownstone Houses that are in the neighborhood. The closer you get to Prospect Park West, the prettier Brownstones you see.

Whether you want to visit Park Slope, or move here, without a doubt, it is one of NYC’s best neighborhoods.
