Our unit (#202-W) is on the only side of the complex that has a DIRECT GULF FRONT VIEW- step outside onto your private balcony and see your spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico! Walk outside and step onto the sand and the beach.
THERE IS A THREE (3) NIGHT MINIMUM STAY REQUIREMENT. IN THE BUSIEST SEASONS, THE MINIMUM STAY WILL BE SEVEN (7) NIGHTS, FROM SATURDAY TO SATURDAY.

PLEASE CONTACT ME FOR AN ACTUAL QUOTE. THE RATE THAT APPEARS IN THE AD DOES NOT NECESSARILY APPLY TO THE DATES YOU ARE INTERESTED IN. IN THE SLOWEST SEASON, THE DISCOUNTED NIGHTLY RATE IS AROUND $200, BUT IN THE HIGH SEASON CAN BE MORE THAN $400. I WILL BE HAPPY TO GET YOU AN ACTUAL QUOTE, INCLUDING ALL TAXES AND FEES.
We face WEST, directly into the water and the sunset. See the photos taken from our balcony. We are as far away from the street as you can be. These are the best views in the complex!!
Every night we were there, we sat out on the balcony with cocktails and snacks and watched the sunset. It did NOT get old.
Our unit is on the second floor, second unit from the left (south) if you are facing west (Unit 202-W). We are closer to the kiddie pool that the adult pool, which is near the 'north wing' of the building.
The island style suite provides two bedrooms (each with a queen-size bed), a separate living/dining room with a queen sofa bed, a fully furnished kitchen and washer and dryer (the washer and dryer work great- I did laundry every day I was there).
There are plenty of dish and bath towels in the unit, but you do need to bring your own beach towels!
At Sunset Vistas you can cool off in a large resort swimming pool (with a separate children's pool) relax in our whirlpool spas, revitalize in the spacious fitness center or refresh yourself by the fountains in the tropical courtyard. Satisfy your cravings at the on-site café and convenience store and sample a tropical cocktail at the beach bar.
Only 30 minutes from Tampa International Airport, Sunset Vistas is conveniently located near John's Pass Fishing and Shopping Village, St. Petersburg, Fort DeSoto Beach, Tropicana Field and Busch Gardens.
During our visit, we walked over the bridge to John's Pass more than once, with a 10 year-old and an 80 year-old in tow, so it's absolutely do-able. Lots of restaurants to choose from at John's Pass, not to mention ice cream and t-shirt shops. There's also a place where you can check out live alligators and have your kids photographed while holding one- I'm not kidding about this.
While there, we also walked in the other direction to the Publix supermarket, which is exactly one mile from the complex (I also drove there several times). Great place to buy your groceries; I love this chain. We used our kitchen for breakfast and lunch everyday, and even dinner a couple of times. If you don't feel like cooking or going out, there are places that will deliver food to your door at Sunset Vistas!!
Even closer than the Publix, about a half-mile down Gulf Boulevard to the south is Middle Grounds Grille, an excellent restaurant. There is also a Waffle House close by and other shopping and dining opportunities.
If you like to JAZZERCISE (I happen to be an instructor), I found a class less than one mile from SV and went twice during our five-day stay. The instructors were incredibly nice and the class was so much fun. It's held in the beautiful Town Hall facility on 108th street. Check it out.
I WILL ANSWER ALL INQUIRIES AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE. I TRY TO UPDATE MY CALENDAR AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, SO PLEASE LOOK AT THE CALENDAR BEFORE SENDING A REQUEST.

Our family lives in Stamford CT but loves to visit Florida as often as we can. Dino is a Financial Adviser and avid golfer; Lori is a retired attorney who enjoys being home with her wonderful daughter Zoe.
Lori J. Kremidas purchased this condo in 2011
Right on the beach with a direct full view of the Gulf of Mexico from our balcony. Step outside onto the beach. We can't wait to spend some quality time in the sun during the long New England winters!!
Love having a full kitchen and plenty of space to relax. Grounds provide the amenities of a resort with the convenience and privacy of your own suite!
This review is for Unit 413N. This was our second (and best) stay at Sunset Vistas. We brought our two daughters and had a truly wonderful stay-cation (we're locals) - we literally couldn't have asked for anything more and can't recommend this enough to anyone planning a visit to Treasure Island. The owner and staff onsite could not have been more helpful, friendly, professional and accommodating - whether it was in person or via email, we had all the information about the facilities and local area conveniently at our fingertips, along with anything else we needed. The view was truly breathtaking (especially the sunsets) and the condo was very comfortable and had every amenity you could possibly want. It definitely did feel like home away from home. I can't imagine why anyone would ever consider a hotel or another property when something like this is available - it is, without question, superior on any and every level. We enjoyed sampling the local restaurants after laying out by the pool or on the beach all day. The weather was particularly perfect for this time of year. Suffice it to say, we'll be coming back as often as we can.
Okay, I may be biased as the owner, but this was our best stay yet. We enjoyed every minute we were here and could have easily stayed another week and not gotten bored. We watched the sunset from our balcony every evening. I worked out at the fitness center or went to the local Jazzercise class at the Treasure Island City Hall, less than one mile away. We went to the beach, rented a jet ski one day and a boat another from a marina close by. We walked over to John's Pass for some shopping and sightseeing. We watched a movie on the DVD player one night. We took full advantage of the condo amenities, making ourselves breakfast, lunch and sometimes dinner. I did a load of laundry every day so we always had clean bathing suits and beach towels (plenty of bath towels for the entire week). I did a little shopping at the Publix almost every evening to pick up a few things. When you don't feel like doing anything else, you can read out on the balcony or walk out your door and onto the beach to lie out in the sun. Because the weather was so good, we didn't need to go far to be entertained, but there's lots of stuff within driving distance if the weather's not great or you get bored with the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful, as always and I cannot wait to come back next year!!
This property exceeded our expectations. The entire staff were friendly and accommodating to our requests. We appreciated the discounts they offered to area attractions and their suggestions about eating places. We liked their willingness to change out our towels every day, if needed. On one occasion another guest parked in our designated spot and the security staff promptly resolved the issue.
We appreciated the ocean front condo and the proximity of the walkway to the beach.
We enjoyed the paved trail to Sloppy Joe's that was pointed out to us by the front desk staff.
My husband decided to surprise me with a trip to Sunset Vistas, and flew down our kids and my best friend to meet us. This place truly is my "heaven on earth"...this was our third time there, and I never tire of the fantastic views and the beautiful beach. Everything one could ever need is supplied and all you have to do is sit back and enjoy!
Just returned from a very relaxing few days at the Sunset Vista Condo. The location was perfect, right ont he beach, second floor location gave us easy access to the beach and the car if we wanted to go out. We were able to sit on the deck and watch sunsets. There were 2 couples and the accomadations were just right for the 4 people. That area of beach was not overly crowded so it made going out to enjoy the sun very relaxing. We liked the treasure Island area becausee we never had to go more than 4 or 5 miles to find a very good resturant in the evenings. When we go back to Florida next year we will be looking at the availability of this unit.
I was lucky enough to stay there in February for five nights with my wife and father in law. We all loved watching the sun set from our deck and I loved falling asleep at night with the sound of the waves. Since we were escaping the winter it was perfect to take an evening stroll on the lighted walkway that runs between the sand and the hotels and resorts. Perfect to walk along and have dinner and a few drinks without having to drive. I am looking forward to returning.
A credit card is required to hold the reservation, however, your card is not charged until your actual stay. (i.e., you do not pay the total in advance).
