Our garden level suite offers modern amenities in a quaint setting. Set on a quiet street, you will feel the luxury of Manhattan but with the calm of a small town. It is located across the street from a beautiful park that is a great place to rest after a full day of sightseeing.
The floors are covered by terra cotta tiles and the exposed brick work offer urban chic with rustic flair giving an ambience of both comfort and familiarity. The ceilings are low (6'4") which adds to the coziness of the space.
There is one bedroom with a full-size bed that sleeps two and a day lounger in the living room that sleeps one.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, fridge and plenty of pots and pans for cooking.
Feel free to enjoy the garden. Your sanctuary has a private entrance at the back of the house with a lovely cobblestone patio where you can take your meals.

Manhattan is wonderfully hectic. Enjoy the pulse all day, but come back to tranquility only 15 minutes away.
Our Garden level apartment is Cozy, Cute, and Close to Manhattan!
The apartment was very cozy, clean, and comfortable. Ursula made us feel very welcome and gave us great info for the Macy's parade. It was a great experience for our first time in NY and will be staying there for future trips.
It's the first time I've stayed in Union City but it won't be the last. Incredibly convenient for Manhattan -- though avoid the rush hour bus if you can and take the ferry instead -- and a great, mainly Latino, neighbourhood. Breathtaking views over the river from the end of the road. The basement apartment is very comfortable and has everything you could need. Ursula is very charming and extremely generous; providing a range of foods and staples so you don't need to go out to buy coffee, oil etc. The ceilings are quite low so it might not be the best place for tall people but we enjoyed our stay enormously and will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
Ursula is an amazing host, making sure her guests are welcome. There were provisions for breakfast, and many other goodies that lasted for days. There is a nice table where you can sit on the patio and have your morning coffee.
The trip into Manhattan is quick, maybe 20 minutes in total and you are right in the heart of the city. It was nice to come back to the quiet apartment after the being in the busy city all day. It was easy as Ursula explained how everything worked and was available if you had any questions. There were umbrellas available as well.
The double bed was comfortable and there were toiletries and plenty of towels.
This is a great apartment, close to the city and affordable. As a single woman I found the neighbourhood quiet and it felt safe when I came home at night. I'm glad I stayed here.
Our visit to the Jersey area was much more relaxing due to the extra attention that Ursula puts forth to make sure that her tenants feel welcomed and comfortable. Not only is this apartment affordable, but it also has that unique home away from home feeling the moment you walk into the door. If ever I'm in the area again I will certainly be contacting Ursula.
Excellent hospitaity, real people who now how to serve up great service.they should be cannonized for outstanding ability ......Tell your Friends
we stayed here for 5 nights, the breakfast for the first morning lasted a lot longer. The tickets to take the bus into new York were there, what a convenience. We loved our stay a lot, of towels to use and if we needed anything we just had to ask. Ursula even drove us to the port to catch the boat to the statue of liberty. Really a nice stay if I ever go back to visit NY we will stay there again. Thanks for a good vacation
