Our family LOVES Vermont and visiting our vacation home! We rented many places before finally finding our perfect place. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
Richard Lee purchased this townhome in 2014
We've been visiting Quechee for over a decade, and probably looked at over 100 properties before settling on this place. It was the first place that felt like 'home' - and we hope it will feel the same for renters as well. It's a perfect set-up for 2 families with kids - with plenty of beds, and lots of play areas inside and out. The Sugar Hill condos have their own tennis court & basketball hoop, and lots of grass to run / play / sled in winter. We love how close it is to the beautiful Quechee Club for swimming, skiing, tennis, golf. Renters get exclusive access to use all the amenities at the club (daily fee required). Not to mention pretty much every activity you can think of within a short drive. We also love visiting nearby Woodstock or Hanover (home of Dartmouth College) for the shops and restaurants. We always make sure to visit nearby King Arthur Flour and the Montshire Museum (biased, but better than Boston Children's Museum in our opinion).
We've always loved the Upper Valley and knew we'd eventually find the place that felt like home. We love the relaxing vibe of Vermont, all the outdoor activities and family time, the comforting amenities of the Quechee Club, and all the possibilities of the Upper Valley with Woodstock, Hanover and many other places just a short drive away.
We were there with a a group of almost 10 adults and for only a short weekend, but we will remember it a lifetime.
Everything was in order. Contact made by owner on second day to see if everything was OK and it was. Seemed ready to help if there were problems although there were none. Nice condo, all the amenities and easy to get to. We were doing things in Hanover, NH. but it was a quick drive there. Very pleasant stay.
We rented the town home for my son's college graduation. It nicely accommodated extended family members. It was clean and spacious. The owner was quick to answer questions, easy to work with and helpful. Thank you!
We ventured to Quechee for the balloon festival in June, which was amazing and spent the weekend at this property. Everything we needed was available to us including pictures to help locate the various switches for hot water, etc. Some of us are not very mechanical! The facility is wonderful with ample space and all the creature comforts of home. We'd return with no questions asked. Enjoy!
Very nice apartment, clean, well appointed, close to the Quechee downtown. Was perfect for our group!
Very comfortable, well appointed home for our family gathering during unusually frigid weather! Toddlers loved the large playroom. Parents relaxed by the fireplace. All loved visits to nearby Simon Pearce to watch glassmaking and enjoy lunch. Owner was easily accessible and helpful. Hoping to return!
My wife & I have been visiting the Upper Valley for over a decade before purchasing our townhouse in Quechee. We love every season there - Summer (golf, Lake Pinneo, Quechee Club pool, biking, hiking), Winter (sledding, skiing, cross country skiing, snow shoeing), Fall (foliage, biking, hiking), and even Spring (mud season - even if it is awfully messy!). There are some amazing restaurants - our favorites include Simon Pearce, Worthy Kitchen.
