A great place for an extended family or two to spend a week or more. Explore the Kennebunks from a home base that feels like home, not like you're the millionth customer! Spectacularly finished open living/dining and kitchen with high end appliances and gorgeous fireplace, opening to expansive deck and screen porch for you to entertain or keep an eye on the kids while they roam the large yard or ride bikes on the quiet circle. First floor also features 2 bedrooms (1 queen, 1 twin+pop up trundle) and updated full bath. Second floor also boasts two beds (2 twins and 1 queen) and bath with shower. But wait, there's also a finished basement, with laundry, lg TV and more sleeping quarters. Going to the beach? Grab our parking pass, pack the car (instead of dragging the toppling wagon and wandering youngsters), spend the day or comeback for lunch because we are that close and Bennetts sandwiches are on the way! Then rinse off in the ENCLOSED OUTDOOR SHOWER before relaxing in the peace and quiet or hitting the 'Port to check out all the new high-end establishments or an old stand-by for chowder and fried clams. Beach not your thing? Webhannet Golf Course is less than a mile away and open to the public. You haven't lived until you've golfed where you can hear and smell the surf, but still be among the tall Maine pines. Play with the kids or get in a practice round at the even closer pitch & putt/range on Rte 9. Explore Kennebunkport, historic Kennebunk village, with its new skating pavilion! There is so much to do for family members of all ages and interests: hiking trails, bike rentals, KBIA, the Bush compound, outlet shopping, Mt Abram, the Trolley Museum, Kennebunk Conservation Trust and Goat Island Lighthouse, Cape Porpoise village is quintessential ME fishing hamlet, Wells/Ogunquit/York beaches/villages, services at St. Anne's on the rocky coast, drinks on the veranda at the historic Colony Hotel, fish from the breakwater at the mouth of the river in Kennebunkport or make a crab net with the kids (bait secret = hotdogs!). You can rent anything: boats, bikes, kayaks, paddleboards, a golf cart ride home from a night in the Port!

Great week in Maine
This is the second year staying in this house! It is comfortable and relaxing! The owners are so accommodating! Hoping to return again next year!
Great location - Nicely Furnished
The house was well equipped and nicely furnished. The first floor was very bright and cozy. Kitchen was well equipped if you wanted to cook.
The second floor bath was going to be remodeled the week after we stayed which would move this to a 5 star property.
We are happy you enjoyed the stay and are even happier to report that the second floor bath was indeed remodeled that week, it now features glass and marble tile, a frameless glass shower enclosure, porcelain wood grain floors and a double vanity. We are very proud you consider our home 5 star accommodations, thank you!
Thisclose to beaches, golf and Kennebunkport without the crowd and on a cul de sac where the kids can ride bikes and play kickball while you hang out on the expansive and private back porch. Can't get that any closer to the beach, but it is still less than a mile away! Who wants to lug all that gear in a wagon anyway? Great home base to explore all the Kennebunks have to offer: golf, boating, shopping, antiquing, hiking, swimming, ogling the Bush compound or where Taylor Swift shot her last video. All of the new hot spots in town are at your disposal, without paying so much to stay. Go 5 Star and eat at the White Barn Inn or grab at Pizza and watch the waves roll in as the sunsets on Naragansett Point. Your kids will roll into bed exhausted. Great place for families to explore at all ages.
