Guestbook comments from the manager

We've finally returned to TN from our multi-week visit to CO and NM. First, we really appreciate the interactions we had with Barbara Davis who was always responsive to our questions and quickly addressed our needs. Our stay at Elk Crossing was delightful. It was private and quiet yet near to restaurants (we did not cook at the property) and was very convenient to the Rocky Mountain National Park where we mostly enjoyed hiking and sightseeing. The unit was clean, in good shape and all the amenities were as advertised. Thanks for your part in making our visit to Estes Park and RMNP an enjoyable experience.

Wonderful, would stay again.

We had a wonderful time staying in Elk Crossing, it was perfect for us and our adult children. What a great place to relax after long hiking days in Rocky Mountain National Park. Thanks again.

Family Wedding Stay

  • 5 of 5

The house was very comfortable, clean, pleasingly decorated and filled our needs to a T! We were in Estes with children & grandchildren to attend a family wedding and felt right at home in this charming, cozy home. Everything we needed was provided. It was good to be able to have a place to come to relax and let the kids nap and play. We enjoyed our stay! Thanks to the owners for allowing us to use it!

Nice Cozy Home Close to Estes Park and National Park

  • 4 of 5

Very well Located. Pretty close to both Estes Park as well as the Rocky Mountain National Park. The home was clean and well furnished with a fully equipped kitchen. There were some nice touches like telescopic walking canes for hiking, umbrellas, hiking guides and DVDs of some good family movies.

The bed in the master bedroom was disappointingly small and the beds in the other bedroom was squeaky (getting old).

Response to service requests were prompt.

Amazing group getaway cabin for Labor Day weekend

  • 5 of 5

We booked this cabin for the Labor Day,2014 weekend. Our group sought some quality nature and outdoor experience and this cabin served a great purpose to that. Nestled in the woods, one can hear the trees humming with the flowing wind and the night calmness was really soothing. It had a great combination of solitude yet close to gas station, Safeway and the Estes Park market.

The booking process was very smooth and the confirmation email had all the details. The cabin itself was very well equipped for our group with enough kitchen and bathroom amenities. The kitchen had every equipment and we enjoyed cooking on the outdoor grill in the cold of night. We also spotted a dear on one morning which was a great sight.

This CO trip was a first for most of us and this cabin kept us pretty close to most of the Rocky Mntn NP point of interests. Everyone was very satisfied by the stay. I will highly recommend this cabin for anyone seeking peace and quiet with easy access to worldly needs :)

The property is just as pictured . . . very clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed to eat in or explore the beauty of Estes Park. You will enjoy staying in this relaxing setting---very homey. We enjoyed eating at the Rock Inn Mountain Tavern while listening to live music.
