Better than the pictures! Awesome Vacation!

  • 5 of 5

We have had experiences where the property doesn't look anything like the photos posted. That is not the case with this incredible Vacation Home! It is even more beautiful than the pictures and the house is so very well stocked that it makes your stay seem like "home-away-from-home". Vered was incredible to work with, her responses to any questions asked were prompt and accommodating! She truly wants your stay to be wonderful. There were 11 of us, eight adults and three children (oh yeah, and two dogs). All of us had a great time and want to come back again someday! Even the dogs seemed to enjoy themselves! Most vacations you almost seem ready to go home at the end (even if you had a good time) but we all agreed that one week was just not enough time! Thank you, Vered for giving us a vacation that we will cherish forever!

Wonderful week!

  • 5 of 5

Home, amenities and location were ideal for our family. The large seaside lawn with accompanying veranda was a key feature for us. We enjoyed kayaking around the quiet coves with numerous seal sightings. Low tide extends the footprint of the property, providing a unique beauty for gathering spots on the rock. Owners were responsive to any needs while there.

Beautiful and peaceful atmosphere ideal for relaxing!

  • 5 of 5

This was my family's first (hopefully not last) trip to Maine. We instantly fell in love with the house and view of the water. The pictures do not do the house justice - so much more beautiful in person. We enjoyed the town of Friendship and ventured to Wallace's Market several times. From kayaking, to taking the puffin boat ride, to getting lobster from one of the wharfs, to exploring Pemaquin Point/Beach, Bar Harbor and Acadia, we never ran out of things to do. And at the end of each day we were able to come back to the house and relax with a beautiful view. House was well equipped with all that you needed (we made a huge family dinner every night - although may benefit from another spatula). Beds were very comfortable and allowed for a great night sleep. Owners were extremely responsive and always made sure to answer our endless questions about the house and area. Highly recommend this house!!

Fabulous property!

  • 5 of 5

The house is charming and full of character! Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. A spectacular view of the water. It was fun climbing on the big rocks when the tide was out. I sat on the bench on one of the rocks, had my morning coffee while watching the lobster boats come in close to check their traps. The large front lawn made a perfect gathering spot for 25 of my family to drop by for a reunion for the afternoon. Camden and Rockland are charming nearby coastal towns with great resteraunts and shopping. There are even a couple of hiking trails. We had a great time!

Beautiful house and property

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here recently for a family reunion with three generations. The house and view are stunning, and the house is much better equipped/stocked than any other VRBO we've rented. Clearly the owner is very thoughtful about the comfort and enjoyment of guests, and I would say the home and grounds are a step up from a typical vacation rental.

Overall, fantastic trip and many thanks to the owner for the hospitality.

One heads up: The kitchen and dining room are on the lowest floor (of three) and there is a short but steep slope from the lawn to the water. If someone in a group is a senior or isn't as steady on their feet, this could present some challenges or at least somewhat limit access to certain areas.

Wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

What a great relaxing place to spend a week with our family! (7adults and3 children) This place surpassed our expectations! The kids loved playing on the rocks or wading , fishing or combing the beach for shells and sea creatures. The back porch was fabulous for morning coffee ,reading or just enjoying the view. We enjoyed the croquet set and buoy bat! Indoors has nice table areas for games all with amazing views. Kitchen is well furnished. My son-in-law is a chef so we mostly ate at the house. Enjoyed lots of good seafood! Beds and baths are great! Everything nice and clean! Manual at the house very informative! Thank you and we all hope to visit again!
