Clean seems to involve a judgment. Over the years I have learned that my clean and my neighbor's clean are different things. Obviously my clean and my children's clean are different----But spotless is an absolute. In our condo YOU are the judge. We leave our cleaning staff's checklist inside the condo for our guests with a message: 'This is the checklist that we left for our cleaning staff. We will call you shortly after your arrival to see if YOU are satisfied. We do not pay our cleaning staff until our condo meets your expectations!' Pretty simple concept....and it works!

Stan and Marie are retired educators. Marie was a middle school and high school counselor, and Stan was head of the Humanities Department at the local college. While employed, Marie was selected by the Japanese-American Foundation to establish a sister school in Japan. We also hosted many Japanese students and college professors and teachers-in-training from Japan.
Stan and Marie come from very different backgrounds: a farm girl from Ohio and a city boy reared in the cultural center of Boston.
Retiring on the Outer Banks near their two grown children and seven small grandchildren, they have lived and worked for 30 years in North Carolina.
Both love to spend quality time with their family, engulf themselves in the beauty of nature or lose themselves reading a good novel. They enjoy attending classical music concerts and the theater. Just ask...They will be glad to provide you with references upon request.

We took our first trip to Hawaii just after retirement and fell in love with the islands. We like Oahu because it combines quiet deserted beaches and active night life.
We looked all over the island to decide where we wanted to live, and the very center of Waikiki won.
After that we looked at every building in Waikiki. Our realtor says we looked about 4 times at every building in Waikiki. The Fairway Villa, for us, is the VERY BEST BUILDING.
We like the convenience of a washer/dryer in our room, roof top pool, and parking. In addition, it is in the very best location.
The friendly, quiet and festive ambiance of the building sold us.
Location,location, location. For us, this is simply the very best location on the island. We love to roof top pool up and away from the traffic and the panoramic views of Diamond Head, Waikiki, the mountains, and Honolulu.
We enjoy being just steps from the beach, yet with a private parking space, we can travel around the island to secluded beaches during the day, and be back in town to enjoy the night life.
I decided to stay at this condo 8 years ago, when the owner invited me to the room. But the dream had not come true until I retired.
I ran Honolulu Marathon with my son while I was staying there. If you want to participate in it, this condo is the perfect place for conditioning and relaxation. The owners Stan and Mrie are my best friends. They showed them how to enjoy your stay in Oahu. It's very close to Kuhio and Kaiakaua street, famous and popular tourists spots. There are too many merits and advantage to write in this small space.
My wife and I were absolutely thrilled the very first moment we stepped into our 'Sunrise' condo. It was very neat, organized and functional. The condo had everything you needed such as: washer/dryer units near the bathroom, good size closet with several hangers, large refrigerator and freezer, full size stove, beautiful couch, kitchen table and chairs. One of the most outstanding feature is the 'Lanai'. We sat there many nights watching the moon rise above the Ko'Olau Mountains and many mornings with a cup of Kona coffee watching the sunrise over the slope leading to Diamond Head. Bed was very comfortable. Another big + for us was the availability and usage of the Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrella. The building itself is very clean, very secure and quiet. We also took full advantage of the gas grills on the 29th floor and what a spectacular 360 degrees view of 'Paradise'. Last but not the least is that we dealt with very efficient, very friendly and well organized owners, Marie and Dr. Stan,
who made it possible for us to spend an unforgettable month in 'Paradise' at their Sunrise condo.

We(my husband, 2 year old son and I), had a lovely stay at the Sunset Condo at Fairway Villa. The place was clean and equipped with amenities like fridge, microwave, stove, washer/ dryer and toiletries which made our stay quite comfortable. Washer/dryer was especially convenient with a toddler. My son slept on pull out sofa next to comfortable queen sized bed. There were enough pillows and linen.
It was great being able to stay in Waikiki, near to stores, restaurants and walking distance to beach. Therefore, you don't really need a car.
However, we chose to rent a car. It was great that we had an assigned parking spot. It made touring the island so much easier and more affordable since we were able to rent our own car and move at our own pace, without having to pay the tourist tour price. Parking in Waikiki can be expensive so this was a great plus.
The view from our lanai was nice, affording a picturesque view of Ala wai canal and the mountains. We always had breakfast on the lanai.
The price was quite affordable for our 10 day visit.
Overall, this was a great stay, and I would definitely recommend.
My hubby and I stayed here for our honeymoon. We really enjoyed it. The views from the balcony and rooftop are amazing. We watched the sunrise every morning. We also enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi, and the grocery store right across the street. It's a short walk to the beach too. Loved it! Great value for the location!
We stayed in the Sunset Condo at the Fairway Villa for two weeks in November-December. We chose it via the internet as it had good reviews and we were not disappointed. The studio was well equipped with everything we could possibly need. It had a full kitchen with a large fridge, oven and stove top. The kitchen also had a blender, brewed coffee facilities, and even a rice cooker. The laundry was well stocked with its own washer, dryer bath & beach towels and cleaning facilities. The condo had Wi-Fi, Netflix movies, Pandora radio and more.
On the balcony, we found beach chairs, a sun shade and other beach/swimming equipment. The balcony was a great place to have morning coffee or relax at sunset and watch some of the fireworks on a Friday night or the mountain lights in the evening. The view of the misty mountains, golf course and river were lovely in the day time. The 360 degree views from the roof top, pool and BBQ area helped us get our bearings when we first arrived.
The third person slept in the fold out couch right next to the main bed. We packed up the bed each morning to allow more room to walk around the studio. Both beds were very comfortable for sleeping well at night.
When we arrived we received a message from the owners, Marie and Stan, making sure that we had everything we needed. They were most welcoming and gave us some great advice on what we could do while we were in Oahu. They also left very useful books and information in the condo so we could plan our time in Oahu, Hawaii.
We hired a car for three days and enjoyed the free overnight parking with the condo as this can cost approx $25-$35 US per day in Waikiki. The friendly security staff greeted us each day as we would leave and return to the building
We all loved the location of the Fairway Villa. We found it a short walk to the bus stop, beach and shops but also far enough away from the hustle & bustle as we were able to sleep with the windows open with very little disturbance from the streets. The building was across the street from The Food Pantry which we shopped for convenience, although there were cheaper places to shop for groceries that were not far away, we did not try them.
My husband and I would recommend staying here for either a long or short term stay.
