Best stay in Maui!

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved the location and how quiet and safe the condo location was.

What most impressed us, however, was the cleanliness and attention to details. We are very clean, tidy, and organized and to find your location met every one of our standards blew us out of the water. You had extra towels, bedding, snorkeling and swimming gear, and even travel location guides all readily available.

We have already discussed coming back next year and want to stay again at your location.

Thank you for impressing us!

Quite the place

  • 5 of 5

About us. We are turning 70 and have used VRBO for 20+ years, everywhere we go. New York City, La Jolla, Outer Banks, Olympic Peninsula and so many places in between. Hawaii, last year too. We’ve probably stayed in 25 places. There are always issues. We are pretty picky; expect what is sold to us.

We'd spent eight nights on Kauai, and switched over to Maui arriving at Milowai 105 surprised at how immaculate and well designed the apartment is. We arrived early so walked to a great restaurant/bar, Beach Bums, no more than five minutes away for a relaxing lunch before move in. There are shops and other restaurants in that same close by area as well as a terrific aquarium. Walk everywhere and watch the boats in the harbor.

We returned from lunch and entered a hall to a king bedroom on the left (extremely comfortable bed,) left our bags to look over the place. The bathroom followed down the hall with granite and a large tub shower that provides tankless continuous hot water. Very nice. Throughout is the nicest wood plank style tile that extends out on to the lanai for a continuous flow. Nice touch.

The kitchen had EVERYTHING. Ever need something and ask what can we use instead? Not here. One of the best equipped kitchens we have seen in more than 20 years. Dishes/flatware are top notch and thanks for the dishwasher. A granite kitchen bar/counter faces the living room and the lanai. Very comfortable sitting area for nice tv viewing.

On to the lanai with a glass top table and four chairs plus two other chairs and small table. There are tons of coolers beach towels and best, a washer/dryer.

Ok so that’s the over view. I said above we are picky and we were a tad surprised there is a small changing room building for the pool that blocked some of the view of the shore line, not the water. There were no prior visitors comments, so I guess it’s us but we were surprised. John and Nancy had emailed us and we were pleasantly surprised they offset some of our rent which we didn’t expect. The view across the water to Kihei and Wailea and up Haleakala was spectacular, especially at night when the moon reflects off the water. Anyway, this minor obstruction was not ruinous, just a small surprise.

We used the close by grills several times and ate in. A nice extra. If you want a nice quiet place with ALL the amenities, consider Milowai 105. Perfect location and great apartment. Oh, Safeway is 20 minutes away as are the towns of Kihei and Lahaina. Great restaurants.

Thanks

EXTRA NICE CONDO

  • 5 of 5

We rented this fine condo for 4 nights in late April 2016. This is a really nice place - every thing in the unit is clean, in good condition and works well. You will not find a better stocked rental with abundance of high quality cookware, dishes, utensils, appliances (washer and dryer too), soaps, paper goods, and linens and towels. We had AC, but hardly used it as there was excellent cross ventilation from front to rear with the doors & windows open. Parking was very convenient. Early each morning we went a couple blocks east to a small park and walked barefoot on the beach for a couple of miles. The beaches towards Kihei are endless, clean and usually deserted. We had a good time at the businesses near the Ma'alaea Harbor - the Beach Bums restaurant is good. This area of Maui is centrally located and convenient to all areas. We toured historic sites in Lahaina and south Maui, played golf at Maui Nui near Kihei and shopped at a farmer's market in Kahului.

We experienced an unfortunate circumstance that the pool, which was next to the lanai, was closed for resurfacing maintenance while we were there, which project was supposed to be completed about May 1. The owners were unaware that the pool facility was to be closed during our rent term. Due to the inconvenience, the owners granted a full refund of our rental fees, for which we thanked them for their kind consideration. The owners were really considerate. If and when we revisit Maui, we will definitely stay here again. We recommend this place most highly.

Peaceful Oceanfront Condo

  • 5 of 5

What a beautiful, quiet, condo with amazing views! The pictures are accurate and lovely amenities are well-organized and useful. The place is spotless.

Maalaea is small, but centrally located to enjoy all Maui has to offer. We had fun on the Four Winds snorkel boat tour, Valley Isle "Road to Hana," and PWF whale boat tour. Walk to fun Beach Bums for music and dinner. The sea turtles were easy to spot. The owners were wonderful. We'd love to stay again!

Beautiful, Quiet, great location, with everything you need

  • 5 of 5

Nancy and John

Here we are in your condo the last night of our vacation. We can't thank you enough for providing us with this place we called home for the past 2 weeks. You supplied us with all the needs necessary to get by in Maui. Your place was impeccable, and so organized. Everything in it was high quality and it was decorated so beautifully. We truly felt spoiled. So thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We had an amazing two weeks with all the comforts of home. When we come back to Maui someday it is your place we'd love to stay. Thank you again for everything.

Beautiful & Comfortable

  • 5 of 5

We found the condo to be very beautiful in appearance with excellent quality in all of the appliances and decor. It was comfortable and inviting. The location is excellent as it is central to the more popular beaches and and towns. The access to the condo is easy and since it sits on the water's edge, if you feel like catching a sunset you can do so from the lanai. It was peaceful, quiet, and very neat and clean. We watched a heard (I think 'bale' is the correct term) of sea turtles in the water right behind the lanai. They fed there for hours. We just truly enjoyed our time here with absolutely no complaints. We hated to leave.
