This lovely apartment has been newly-renovated and has two large bedrooms, living room, fully-equipped kitchen and a balcony.

It is located in the quiet neighborhood of Old Katamon in the city center and is within easy access to all of the major tourist sites either by foot or car.

You can explore Jerusalem from this central location and visit the Old City, Downtown Jerusalem, the German Colony, the famous Jerusalem Theater, Mamila Mall and all the little hidden and wonderful shopping streets.

An extra added attraction is your hostess, Iris, who knows Jerusalem like the back of her hand and can give you lots of tips and secrets that only a native knows to make your stay even more enjoyable.

I was born and raised in the spectacular city of Jerusalem. My family is one of the first families of Jerusalem .

I studied sociology and social anthropology at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

For many years I worked with my parents in their well-known jewelry store which was located on the famous shopping street Ben Yehuda. I met people from all over the world and that's what made me want to run this beautiful apartment.

I love to travel the world to explore new places and to meet people from other countries.

I also live right next door to this wonderful apartment so I can answer your questions and help you with any situation that might arise 24/7.

Absolutely Perfect!

My wife and I stayed here for 8 nights, and everything was just as described. There are two full bedrooms, so it was more space than the two of us needed. The neighborhood is tree-lined, quiet, and completely safe, even for women walking alone at night. The Wi-Fi router is inside the apartment, so it worked perfectly. Most important, at least to us, is the service provided by the owner. When electing to rent an apartment rather than stay in a hotel, we renters expect to sacrifice the services offered by a hotel in exchange for saving money by renting an apartment. Thus, the difference between a good rental and a bad rental is the owner's ability to provide some of those hotel services. The owner of this apartment, Iris, stands out among owners of the many apartments we've rented. Not only is she warm, friendly, and caring, but she herself lives across the hall from the rental unit, so she's available 24/7 for any problems. For example, we were unsure how to operate the clothes washing machine, as the dials had all the markings in Hebrew. Iris was there to help. The only negative aspect I can report is the ad states there are a hair dryer and microwave. However, the owner's attention to our needs more than compensates for this. I am sure had we asked Iris for a hair dryer, she most certainly would have gone out and bought one or lent us hers. She exchanged dollars for us for Israeli shekels one day when we ran out. Her care even included arranging a taxi back to the airport when we left and negotiating the price with the driver for us. She also took the time to speak to us on the phone when we were searching for apartments and had some questions, and she said she enjoyed our conversation so much she offered us a discount. It is clear by all Iris's future reservations that she has many satisfied renters. We happily recommend this apartment and plan to stay there again next year.

Comfortable and well-located apartment with very kind host

We had a wonderful stay for 3 nights in this excellent apartment. Immaculately clean, in a lovely quiet neighborhood, walking distance to many sites and amenities. The apartment has plenty of room for 3 or 4 people, great light and a nice view from the small balcony, efficient and quiet air conditioning (which is needed in summer), and pleasant simple furnishings. The owner was incredibly welcoming and helpful, so interested in our feeling at home that it was almost like visiting family. For example, she came over to show us how to operate the remote control for the air conditioning. She was also flexible about our arrival time when we had an airline travel delay. We would recommend this apartment highly and would love to come back.

Terrific experience, everything we needed!

The apartment is in a terrific location (30 minute walk to the Old City; 30 minute walk to Ben Yehuda Street; 30 minute walk to Machane Yehuda market), and was immaculately clean.

The apartment had everything we needed, and was really beautiful. The apartment is much larger than it looks i the photos. There was a large (King?) bed in one bedroom, and three single beds in the other bedroom. There is a washing machine, which was essential during our trip, and the drying stand did a great job of drying our clothes quickly during the day.

The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, utensils, a full-sized fridge, hot plate and toaster oven. The kitchen table is certainly adequate for seating for four, and we fit five around the table.

Iris is delightful - she is warm, kind, thoughtful and welcoming. She was truly happy to hear that we were immensely enjoying our visit. During our stay, I had asked Iris if she knew of a medical clinic, and she immediately called a medical clinic on our behalf and spoke to them first. It was truly an appreciated and considerate gesture. We were really comfortable in the apartment, it had everything we needed.

Excellent location, perfectly clean and very nice owner

We stayed here in December 2015 and everything was fine. The apartments show itself exactly as it is in the photos, very clean and functional. A very good plus for us was the easy parking always available on the street next to the building. The owner, Iris, has always been ready to help us to make our staying more comfortable.

Definitley we suggest this option to everyone.

The best place to stay in Jerusalem

My friend and I booked for the whole month of October and we could not have been more pleased. The apartment is on the top floor, super clean and extremely comfortable. It felt like home. It was wonderful to stay in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood so close to all the sites but yet away from the noise and hustle of all the tourist attractions. Everything was in walking distance. We enjoyed the experience of living in an upper class area of Jerusalem, near the President's residence. We walked to the Old City, the German Colony, the Market, Ben Yehuda Street, etc. We were thrilled to experience the celebrations in the community of Sukkot and Shabbat. It was a joyful community.

Iris was extremely helpful; she was always available to make recommendations and to give directions. She shared her favorite neighborhood coffee shop and restaurant that we frequented repeatedly. The amenities, layout and size of the apartment were as described and felt large with the high ceilings. Everything was fresh and clean. We will definitely return every chance we get. You won't be disappointed with this place.
