About Ginger Howard
We live in Jackson WY and bought this house for our Cincinnati visits a few times a year. My husband worked in commercial real estate for Jones Lang LaSalle and is now retired. I taught Montessori pre-school and grades 1-4 in public schools. We have two grown children in the San Francisco Bay area. We split our time between Idaho, Santa Fe, and Cincinnati.
Ginger Howard purchased this House in 2013
Why Ginger Howard chose Hyde Park
I lived in Hyde Park while attending college. It's a great walking community - cute houses, lots of coffee shops and restaurants, and close to all the best in Cincinnati. It's a great location for exploring the city: Eden Park, Over the Rhine, Ault Park, Downtown and Covington KY.
What makes this House unique
The house has tall ceilings and a large kitchen with farm table. Also double doors to the outside deck and large yard. Love the front porch and garden in front. But the best benefit is the location near great restaurants, shops and farmer's market. Off-street parking steps from the house is nice too!

It was a good house in a good location! We are from out of town looking for a good location to Cincinnati stuff and this was great. Kitchen was spacious 2 rooms were big and the upstairs 3rd floor loft/room would be a nice addition for extra people to stay
Perfect for our family
This house and it’s location was exactly what we were looking for. We travelled with our family of five including teenagers. The area is great for relaxing inside or out. The walk to the square was nice and the variety of shops and food was very good. We had no problems with any part of our stay. The house was exactly as pictured and described. The other reviews described the stairs as steep, but they seem like any other stairs I’ve climbed in a house before. The location made it convenient to get to all of the attractions and restaurants we wanted to. If someone wanted to spend the whole week just at the house and at Hyde Park square, they’d have plenty to do and would enjoy it. Since we didn’t have any problems or issues at all we had extremely limited communication with the owner but she was responsive when we did. We would definitely use this home again if returning to the area in the future.
Weekend in Hyde Park
Very comfortable house in a very safe location. We had a beautiful weekend and spent the majority of the time out on the private back deck.Highly recommend this property.
Beautiful house in a great neighborhood
We loved this house! The kitchen was wonderful, and we loved being able to cook and hang out while watching the kids in the backyard. The bedrooms were beautiful, and the attic/loft space on the third floor was perfect for our boys to have a cousin sleepover. The Hyde Park location was perfect (so close to Graeters AND Busken!). We had no difficulties with parking or getting into the house. The stairs are super creaky, which another review mentioned, so if you have very light sleepers they might wake you up, but thankfully we all played hard enough during the day that it wasn't a dealbreaker! We would absolutely stay here again.
We arrived and were thrilled with this home. It was beautiful and the location was perfect. We parked the car and didn't move it until we left. Plenty of great restaurants and shopping within a block or 2. Highly recommended this home.
Great place would certainly stay again if ever needed.
Hyde Park Square is one block away. Beautiful fountain surrounded by benches, and coffee shops, ice cream parlor, lots of restaurants, and shops. Also walk to Buskens Bakery and more shops at Rookwood Commons. Short drive to Eden Park and Ault Park, and the new Vine St. restaurant area in Over the Rhine. Try Zip's for burgers close by and Arnold's downtown for a casual historic lunch.
