West Hollywood Home Rental Agreement
Before entering the property, a valid, government issued ID (Passport, Drivers License, State ID Card, Military ID) must be shown by the owner of the credit card, or authorizer of payment method, used to make the reservation.
Check-in is after 3pm. Check-out is 11 am. Please indicate on your Reservation Form whether you need special handling outside of these hours (a early check in or late check out maybe possible; contact the property manager).
2. No Smoking
Smoking is not permitted inside the home.
Pets are welcome once the pet rental agreement is executed and the pet cleaning fee is satisfied.
4. Adult Supervision
We will not rent to vacationing students or singles under 21 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent.
5. Maximum Occupancy
The maximum number of guests is limited to Eight (8) persons. Additional charges will apply for every guest that exceeds the maximum.
6. Maid Service
While linens and bath towels are included in the home, daily maid service is not included. Maid service is available at an additional rate.
7. Written Exceptions
Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.
8. Earthquake & Storm Policy
No refunds will be given due to "Acts of God". We highly recommend you purchase travel insurance.
9. Parking Permits
If parking permits are issued and not returned there is a $300 replacement fee.
10. Pool Policies (Applicable to Properties with Pool or Hot Tub)
10a. A Pool Fence is available upon request at some properties. By not informing us that your reservation requires a Pool Fence, you are demonstrating that a Pool Fence is not required.
10b. You agree to indemnify and save harmless the Owner and Agent from any liabilities, which includes any harm or accidents related to the use of the pool or hot tub.
10c. If Pool and/or Hot Tub Heating is desired, it is an additional $40 per day. If pool heating is declined upon booking the reservation the pool heater will be locked.
I enjoyed my stay in West Holllywood and the manager is amazing. Thank God they have him. The place has lot of small nicks and needs some loving care to upgrade it for the price. Chips on dishes. Chips on furniture. It could have been cleaner. Light bulbs were out but the manager was amazing. I think it needs a bit of work or perhaps a lower rent.
This is a nice-looking 2nd story apartment -- one of four apartments in a two-story complex. (It is not a stand-alone home.) The apartment is well-furnished and clean. The neighborhood is pleasant. The kitchen is dazzling. The backyard is cute.
There were a few problems, however. Most importantly, we heard a lot of noise at night. I am a heavy sleeper but was woken up twice -- once at around 10 pm and a second time at around 1 am. My wife, also a heavy sleeper, was also woken up. It was bad enough that we asked to move into one of the owner's other properties for the remainder of our stay. Fortunately, he granted our request.
Another problem: The door of the washing machine locked shut and we were unable to retrieve our clothing. After we left the apartment, the property manager repeatedly said he would return our clothes to us but never did so. As our vacation neared an end, he said he would send us the clothes. I hope that is the case. It was very inconvenient not to have these clothes during our trip.
Bottom line: This is a nice apartment but I cannot recommend it if you are trying to get a good night's rest.
