The splendors of Monterey Bay are arrayed just outside your door in this unique 3-bedroom, 2-bath completely remodeled home located just across the street from the stunning Pacific Grove shoreline and the recreational trail. Picture-postcard vistas -- including the brilliant pink of flowering ice plant, the vast blue expanse of the bay with all its fascinating marine wildlife and distant mountains -- are yours to enjoy from virtually every room in this 1,700-square-foot single-story house that sleeps 7 adults.

The house is wrapped around a glass-enclosed atrium. An upscale beach motif prevails in the décor with its palette of white, neutrals and a range of ocean blues. The living room features floor-to-ceiling glass on two walls allowing stunning bay views. A bright remodeled kitchen is equipped with new stainless steel appliances and everything you need for entertaining in style. Spa amenities. Pet friendly.


Luxurious & Romantic...: Upon your arrival you will be greeted by two free aquarium passes and a basket of local information. We have also provided bathrobes, and towels, and beach gear.

The house is just minutes from downtown Pacific Grove with all its charming shops and restaurants and the famed Monterey Bay Aquarium. Across the street is the Monterey Peninsula Recreational Trail that goes from Asilomar beach along the rocky coastline all the way to Cannery Row. A beautiful undiscovered municipal golf course is nearby. Monterey and Carmel are only 5 to10 minutes away by car.

Spacious and Comfortable...: The spacious living room features a pitched ceiling with wood beams, wall-to-wall carpeting and floor-to-ceiling glass on two walls interrupted only by a gas fireplace set in fossil stone. Built-in shelving creates an entertainment center holding a flat-screen LCD-HDTV with Blue-Ray DVD player, a library of books, magazines, games and DVDs. A glass table and chairs situated in the corner where two windows meet allow for casual dining or game playing while watching soaring sea birds, sailboats on the bay and ever-changing light and cloud patterns. Furnishings include a white couch/chaise, end tables and a coffee table with a driftwood finish. Sliding glass doors in the living room lead to a deck facing the bay that is equipped with a bistro table and chairs so that you can enjoy coffee with the morning and cocktails at sunset.

Beautiful remodeled kitchen and more...: Gourmet cooks will be thrilled with the bright, completely remodeled kitchen with its tile floor, fresh white cabinets with stainless steel pulls, granite counter tops and top-quality stainless steel appliances including dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator and gas stove. The house is fully stocked with dishes and all the accouterments for entertaining in the adjacent dining room that features a wooden table with driftwood finish and white legs, upholstered chairs and modern brushed nickel light fixture. In fact, light fixtures throughout the house are brushed nickel. The wind-protected atrium is equipped with a gas light Weber Kettle charcoal grill and table and chairs if you prefer to cook and/or dine in the fresh air among the beautiful flowering potted plants.

Perfect in every way!

I absolutely loved this house. The location couldn't have been more perfect and it was great for our family vacation. The views were amazing. We constantly saw whales, sea otters, and seals out the window. My daughter spent last summer as an intern on a whale boat in Gloucester, MA, so this was a special treat for her. Some comments have been made about all the little reminders around the house and how it made them feel unwelcome. I feel the total opposite. It is always good to know exactly what they owner expects and why conserving energy, water and recycling is a good thing. This is a special place and I can understand why they want to preserve it for others to enjoy. Would totally return and missed this house the minute I walked out the door. The only downside and this was no big deal to us at all was the few stains on some carpet and sofa. They are white, so that is understandable. A spotting scope would be a huge bonus to see across the bay. :) Otherwise I wouldn't change a thing. I would recommend this house to anyone who wants a perfect vacation. Loved it!!! Thanks for helping us have a memorable stay in Pacific Grove.

This is kind of a funky house in an absolutely stunning location. Ocean front. The photos do not do it justice. Four friends gathered for a mini-reunion. Three bedrooms --- we really appreciated the option to separate one or more of the kingsize beds into two twins. The owner, Gayle, met us at the property when we checked in. She could not have been nicer: there was a bottle of wine waiting for us, passes to the Monterey aquarium, restaurant recommendations, etc. The place is spotless. Every activity seemed to be within a ten minute drive, which was a pleasant surprise. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Outstanding experience - as promised

The number one reason I strongly recommend this house is the view of the bay that you get. Just magnificent. And you can soak up the scenery while in the comfort of a well appointed, very neatly kept house. The three bedrooms are separated well enough from each other so that guests can enjoy their privacy. There were 4 adults and a child in our party and had my daughter and her family been able to join us, the house would have still been spacious enough with plenty of room for the children to run around. The owners are very well organizeddwhichmade, the whole experience from booking to wrap up, quite pleasant. As for the location, you can't beat it. It is literally across the street from the beach - hence the gorgeous view. With the starT of the Oceanside trail just across the street, one can walk to just about any place of interest including Cannery Row and the Aquarium. By the way, included in your rent are two passes to the Aquarium every day. We took turns using them. Make sure you use them but go as early as you can because the Aquarium does get crowded. You can also walk to a number of good restaurants. The area is a foodie's haven. But save at least one big meal eating in the house's central patio. Buy raw seafood at the Municipal Wharf and grill at home. Just one more way to make your stay at the Siren Song house memorable. Contact Gayle. She is very friendly and helpful and professional.. Very nice, clean & close to the ocean

We've stayed here before and we always look forward to coming back.

This property is located in a nice area with all the amenities close by.

It's a easy bike ride or car ride to the aquarium. Close to Pacific Grove.

Nice to sit out on the front patio with a glass of wine and relax.

The ocean is right across the street! Can't wait to return. Gayle is very nice and easy to work with.
