Why Anne Ballantine chose Hudson Valley

I love this area because the house is located in a rural area, but so close to Red Hook, Rhinebeck, Germantown, Tivoli, Bard College.

Apologies for the tardy review. We stayed for one week, early summer, I cannot recall the date. Pros: very quiet area, central to area attractions, spacious suite. Cons: flat was poorly prepared for guests. Patch of mold in the fridge, cobwebs in shower....when I made the bed my foot brushed up against something and I looked down, my foot had dislodged a pile of debris which had been pushed under the bed, included an old t-shirt, scraps of yellowed paper and other items I prefer not to mention, looked like cleaner had swept up and instead of using a broom pan to carry debris away had just shoved everything under the bed. Owner was away most of the time, seem to be a very busy person and perhaps not able to give time to her lodging.

Owner's Response: My property was not rented in June 2016. Perhaps you are reviewing another property. Please check. If there was a problem I would want to know ASAP. I know that your family stayed with me in the summer of 2015. Please let me know. It is upsetting to get a bad review, ecspecially almost two years later. Thank you Anne

Our stay was the best ever. The property is lovely, comfortable, spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. It is also located in a gorgeous, quiet but also convenient location. Owner is an absolutely wonderful, kind hostess. We most definitely hope to stay again on our future visits to the area.
