This one bed / one bath great value self catering apartment, suitable for 2 guests, forms part of the newly constructed South Sea House. It is located in a quiet cul de sac road in the upscale area of South Hills, Cap Estate.

Our other listings on VRBO (510462 & #567244) show the quality of accommodation and reliability that we offer.

The apartment enjoys seclusion with a private balcony w/ plunge pool and private parking. The balcony enjoys cooling breezes with beautiful views across to the ocean and golf course. The property is very secure with an automatic gated entry and is fully fenced.

The apartment boasts a light, bright open plan living area with a fully fitted kitchen complete with granite worktops, stove, fridge, blender, dining table, washing machine, TV (32' ), cable TV (50 channels +) and free wireless internet.

The air conditioned bedroom with Queen sized bed has an ensuite bathroom. other a queen size bed.

In addition to the private plunge pool on the balcony, there is a beautiful infinity edge pool located on the property.

Pigeon Island beach is 1 mile away and Cas En Bas beach (Cotton Bay beach) is less than a mile. This vast, unspoilt stretch of sandy beach is popular with wind and kite surfers. The Cap Estate Golf and Country Club with its 18 hole championship golf course is only 5 mins drive away.

All the best restaurants, bars and nightlife in Rodney Bay are 5-10 mins drive away as are other beautiful beaches - Pigeon Island, Smugglers Cove and Reduit beach. The newly renovated Rodney Bay Marina, with its restaurants, shops, boat hire and coastal tours is only 5 mins drive away.

Why Karen Sylvester chose St Lucia

We chose this plot to build on as it is located in Cap Estate, an upscale and popular area for vacation rentals. We love the beautiful sweeping views over the golf course and Atlantic Ocean and the wonderful quiet location with its' cooling breezes! It has been so exciting to see the plans and architect's impressions come to life in this beautiful home.

What makes this apartment unique

It is so convenient for all the amenities (beaches, shops, restaurants, bars etc) of Rodney Bay and the marina, but benefits from being located in a quiet area. Pigeon Island is also only a 5 minute drive away, as is the St. Lucia Golf and Country Club.

It really is as good as it looks!

We stayed once again with Karen and Jerome but this year in apartment 2. This is as well appointed as the others and has every kitchen appliance that you could need. The washing machine is a bonus for keeping beachwear clean! The once a week maid service was also much appreciated. The plunge pool provided the opportunity for a refreshing dip and the view is amazing. We used the family pool frequently - the sun loungers are a great addition and it is a lovely are in which to relax. The drive to Rodney Bay is about 5 minutes where there are numerous bars, restaurants and the supermarket. Karen and Jerome are amazing hosts - on site if you need any advice and the local mobile phone that they provide gives you extra reassurance when out and about. The small touched that they provide (from Pitons in the fridge on arrival to fresh flowers) make you feel really welcome. I cannot recommend this rental highly enough - you would be hard pushed to find anything equivalent for this price. Cant's wait for next year!

We stayed at Karen and Jerome's other property a couple of years ago, so this was a natural choice when returning to St Lucia.

Apartment as described, clean and well maintained. Well equipped. Good customer service provided. Location is quiet with views out to Cas en Bas Bay. Spectacular sunrises (jet lag woke us early) can be photographed from apartment balcony.

Recommend following restaurants - La Terrase, Froggie Jacques, Spice of India, Blue Olive all in Rodney Bay. Pink Plantation House at Castries. Key Largo for good pizza in Rodney Bay.

Beach between Pigeon Island and Sandals busier than last time we visited but umbrellas and sun loungers available to rent. Good location for sunsets.

Eastern beaches on the island all affected by seaweed (more than last time we were here) but that may be transitory.

You are correct the seaweed on the east coast beaches has been worse than previous years, but it is already much improved than a few months ago. Luckily it only really affects a small number of beaches on the east coast and most visitors go to the Caribbean Sea beaches, which are unaffected. Second stay - first time in this unit

I've had the great fortune to have stayed in all of the units now, and other than variance in size and number of bed/bathrooms, there is absolutely no difference in comfort! This unit is just a spacious, just a comfortable, just as beautiful as the others. I have found my new favourite place to stay and will be back often, regardless of which unit is available.
