This cozy tropical retreat offers relaxation and privacy. Our neighborhood is very quite, with lots of big shady trees, no traffic for pleasant walks, bird watching, bike rides to the beach (which is only a mile and a half away), stunning sunsets and complete tranquility. The owner is a long time resident of Naples and can guide you to the many activities offered in the area, such as kayaking, visits to the numerous nature preserves, guided bird watching excursions, boating, fishing, etc.
You can walk to the 'Mercato' to dine in any of the fabulous restaurants al fresco. The Silver Spot movie theater offers service of cocktails while you watch your movie on recliner style seats.
We have tennis courts less than a mile away, and bike rental shops. At the beach you can rent chair and umbrellas for your convenience. Ritz Hotel has a wonderful outdoor cafe on the beach great to go to watch the sunset
The Casa: The Main House consists of two large bedrooms; the master has a king size bed and the second bedroom has a double bed and a twin bed, they are located at opposite ends for absolute privacy. There is a large living room that overlooks the pool and deck area which is surrounded by lush vegetation and is the home of a spectacular variety of local and migratory birds. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary accouterments for fabulous cooking. The kitchen has pass through windows to the pool area to allow to serve your meals al fresco by the pool and garden. The family/TV room is very cozy and lends for quite moments reading/napping or watching TV.
From the master bedroom bathroom you can go out to the pool for a late night dip before bed?
The Main House sleeps 5 people.
I welcome all pets with responsible owners, the pool area is conveniently fenced in for their safety.
There is a Guest House in the back of the property totally independent from the Main House. It is not available for rent and it is for the sole use of the owner when she is in town.
I have been a Naples resident for more than 20 yrs. I am a professional interpreter. I speak Spanish, French and English.
I love Pine Ridge and I am very happy to share its charm with you.

The Casa is even more beautiful than the photos suggest -- spacious, immaculate, and decorated with a ton of interesting cultural artifacts. The pool is great too, and we saw so many birds right from the house! The privacy is excellent... even if there are other people staying at the Casita you won't interact with them unless you want to. And Clara is just lovely to talk to. This is the best place I ever rented, I'll jump at the opportunity to rent again when I come back to the area!
We just got back from Clara's little bit of paradise, and we miss it already!
Even though we're just coming from Broward county, Naples is a whole different world. Weather was gorgeous, house is a truly eclectic (not so) little gem from the moment you enter the front door, through each of the rooms and right out into the back yard. Add Clara's graciousness, and it was close to a perfect week of relaxation.
We stayed at Clara’s house and we had a great time at her gorgeous house! Clara was more than helpful when we needed her and that made our stay fantastic!
The listing description is accurate, the location is in a really nice neighborhood with a lot of green and trees everywhere. Close to the beach.
The house is beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The patio and swimming pool are really nice and secluded! I definitely would recommend Clara’s house to friends and family.
The supermarkets are close and there are a couple of nice restaurants not far from the house. We really enjoy our stay with our children and my mother. Thanks Clara!!
We enjoyed 12 excellent days at a great property located close enough to beautiful beaches. First, we must express our thanks to Clara, the owner of the house. She was a great hostess. She met us with a complimentary bottle of wine, two types of cheeses with crackers and grapes and gave a quick overview of the property and the surrounding areas. The house is really big, even to the extent that some in our party for several days were unable to find the shortest path to the kitchen and were making circles to get there. Actually Clara's kitchen is a paradise for those who want to cook, meaning that it is overflowing with all kind of pans, pots and utensils. And if you did not find something it is only because you did not look good enough. The house itself and its interior are in line with an ambience of a typical mediterranean mansion circa last century, including a nice pool that was very handy for a morning dip. Although everything was very clean and in good repair a lot of things were really dated [even the pots and pans :)], that of course is not a problem as long as it is functioning (some plumbing upgrades in the showers would be really helpful). And while there were some issues with some things Clara was very responsive and helpful in taking care of the problems.
It is worth mentioning that the house is located in a quiet neighborhood and even the construction work at an adjacent property did not give us any trouble. At the same time it is a short drive to the beaches and various nice restaurants and food stores that is very convenient (Clara's suggestions about where to eat and where to buy what to eat where perfect).
And the cherry on the cake was a car sticker that Clara obtained for the guests that allowed us to park for free in many public parking spaces as well as gave us a free access to the famous Barefoot beach. We were going home just before Christmas and Clara was expecting new guests a day after Christmas so she told us upfront that we will need to vacate the premises by 11 AM to allow the clean ladies to do their work. Although this was not very convenient since we wanted to take a shower after spending the last morning at the beach but was understandable. Therefore Clara's phone call to us while we were at the beach with a message that the cleaners will come later and thus we can come back and take the showers just proved again how she cares about her guests. Thank you Clara!
It does not get much better! A very nice home in a perfect location in a great setting and neighborhood. Getting up every morning and enjoying a dip in the pool or a short trip to the beach starts the perfect day. Everything is close by, shopping, entertainment, the zoo and the ocean. Go for a morning stroll along the beach and watch dolphins and the occasional manatee. Downtown Naples is a short drive and there are a multitude of restaurants to chose from. Or chose one of the many close by hotels along the beach for a snack or meal while watching the ocean or the sunset. The house and property are well maintained; landscaping and pool maintenance are done weekly. We have a dog and the yard is fenced it so she can be outside as much as she wants(via the doggy door). Clara is the perfect host and is responsive to any needs. If you're looking to get away and enjoy a great vacation, this is a perfect choice.
We spent a week at Clara's great house. Two adults and two boys (ages 10 and 6) had a wonderful time. We were close to the things we wanted to do (beach, Naples Zoo, restaurants), but had a quiet, private spot to come back to when we were done. The boys loved the pool and we all enjoyed sitting outside and relaxing in the warm weather. We had some meals in and the kitchen had everything we needed. There is a large selection of books so you can even lighten your load when you are packing and just choose your vacation reading from one of the bookshelves at The Casa. We definitely hope to make a return trip some day!
My husband, daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter and I spent a beautiful Christmas week at Clara's. The minute you walk in the front door you will be thrilled to be there. The home is immaculate, furnished with wonderful accents and comfortable furniture. We never tired of looking at the art work that was throughout the home - much of it done by Clara. The tile floors are fantastic! The patio and pool were perfect for morning coffee. The kitchen has everything anyone could want to fix meals. Clara so graciously let us use her beautiful ornaments to decorate a Christmas tree and that meant so much to us. Walking in the safe neighborhood was great. One of the fun attractions was Clara's resident cat. He greeted us each morning and told us goodnight each evening. There are great restaurants close by, the beach is near and shopping in Naples was fun. We would recommend this property without reservations. Clara is a joy to know and was very informative. We are hoping to spend another Christmas there!!
