About the property

2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin in the woods

The cabin is tucked away in a quiet little development between the historic town of Jim Thorpe and Big Boulder ski resort. Surrounded by lush rhododendron on a wooded lot, the property offers a sense of seclusion without sacrificing the security that comes with being in a community. The kitchen is well equipped, the living room is comfortable and has a cozy gas fireplace. The loft is a family room with cable TV, DVD player, books, and board games.

Outside you can relax on the deck or hang out at the fire pit. There is a gas grille and table with chairs for outside dining.

The cabin is beautiful and cozy and clean, and the neighborhood it is in is adorable. The trip into Jim Thorpe was easy and convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly consider staying here again when we’re back in town. Lovely hosts as well :) thank you!!

This is a wonderful place. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook meals and the gas fireplace provided some warmth and ambiance.

The house was clean and everything was in good working order.

Charming and super clean cabin!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I flew upto the Poconos from FL the week of Christmas, and stayed at this quaint cabin. It’s a wonderful get away, and the cabin is in a quiet area. Kitchen is fully stocked, the decor is welcoming and most importantly, the cabin is well-maintained and clean. Joan is super helpful, patient and kind. If you are looking for some R & R and cleanliness is important, don’t hesitate to stay. If I’m ever back in the area, and I just may when it’s not zero degrees, I’d stay here again 😊?.

Cozy, quiet romantic getaway

  • 5 of 5

This space is great, very comfortable and clean, beautiful fireplace, well stocked with kitchen supplies and games. It was less than two hours away from our home base in Harrisburg, and it was the perfect way to get out of the city for a weekend! The hosts were communicative and kind. Highly recommend!

A nice quiet place to vacation that is far enough for peace and quiet, but close to multiple attractions. Would definitely stay here again. Owners are very nice as well.
