Great location, views and amenities.
We had a wonderful time in Oahu and this apartment definitely contributed to the relaxed feeling during our stay.
I can only recommend this apartment. If I have to summarize our experiences, I would say that:
1. It is in a perfect location, in the middle of Waikiki
2. Fully equipped with everything you need (kitchen is completely equipped, many accessories, appliances)
3. Clean & tidy
4. Very good value for money
I can only recommend this apartment to anyone.
If I have to summarize my experineces, I would say that:
1. It is basically in the center of Waikiki
2. Fully equipped with everything you need (you can even find portable chairs in the apartment that you can bring to the beach)
3. Clean and tidy
5. Very good value for money
Also, you can find a nice little spa, pool and sauna on the top of the building if you wish to treat yourself after a long day in the beautiful island of Oahu. :)
This is the second time I've ever done a vacation rental instead of a hotel. This was my 4th visit to Waikiki and with a young child with us we decided to try a vacation rental vs a hotel room. I've stayed at the Westin Moana Surfrider, Outrigger, and split my stay last time between the Disney Aulani and the Ohana East hotels. I find it difficult to determine how to decide the star rating for vacation rentals because I want to compare to how a star rating would be if it was a hotel. As a hotel I would not rate this place as a 4-5 star hotel, but I think as a vacation rental it is a fair 4 star unit for its location and function.
I think the 3 most significant factors in where I am staying is
1) Is it clean? - Yes
2) Is the location good? - Yes
3) Is the bed comfortable for a good nights sleep? - I thought bed was too soft but wife had no issues
I found the unit to be clean when we checked in. We did not have to go around wiping down and cleaning any areas. However, a few notes that I think could have made it an overall better experience. For myself I felt the bed was too soft. I did not wake up with back aches but I can't say I slept that comfortably. The shower curtain on the bottom looked like it was staining quite a bit and could be cleaned or replaced. The curtains were very difficult to open and close and looked liked there had been some issues before in how it was fixed. There was also no extra garbage bags beyond the one that was in the trash cans when we arrived. We stayed for 8 nights so it was little inconvenient throwing away garbage in little shopping bags we got along the way. Extra garbage bags would have been useful. Also, the wifi kept going in and out and we had to power off and on the router to get it going a couple times.
The location was great. Short of being right on the beach as I've stayed before, it was only a very short walk to the beach. Even with a young one in tow, we found the location to be great for going to places to eat and accessing the beach.
Overall, I would recommend anyone to stay at this location. I like staying at different places when I visit a place again just to add to the vacation feel but I would gladly rent again here. Julia was very quick with email responses. For the most part everything is there that you would need for a nice vacation and really never needed to contact her while there.
Thanks for helping us have a wonderful vacation.
Very nice appartment.
Beautful founiture in white and green/flowers, exactly how it's shown in the pictures
Close to all points you need.
Great central location near the beach. Bed was comfortable. Great studio apartment for two. Clean and recently remodeled. Nice breezes at night with sliders left open...don't need to shut them on the 25th floor. Parking garage located next door was handy for the two days we rented a car. Near the market and bus stops. Cozy retreat from the hustle and bustle below on the busy streets. Would stay here again when we return!
