Breathe fresh air and take in excellent views of mountains, islands, and the Pacific Ocean from one of Panama’s most famous and unspoiled beaches.
Voted in the top 5 continental Panama beaches by Frommers travel guide.
Very slow pitched, one of the safest in Panama. No stingrays, no rip tides, no jelly fish, no sharks just very fine brown sand and very warm water.
This Pacific Coast beach retreat is located 1 hour south of David, Panama just outside the little town of Las, Lajas on a (isolated) pristine 9 miles long stretch of beach. The property is beach front and comes with a beach cabana where you can entertain on the beach or relax in your hammock and watch the sunset. This 900 sq ft beach house is perfect for a couple but will comfortably sleep 4 with the extra air mattress provided. It does not have AC but very good ventilation and insulation. The nights are cool. If relaxation with the opportunity to visit one of the world’s gems is what you want, this is the place. When was the last time you were only awakened by the sounds of nature? When in seasons, you can witness turtles laying eggs on the beach, whales migrating, or dolphins riding the waves.
Very safe and there are year round neighbors.

Great place to get away from it all
The property is situated about a mile off the paved road which leads to Playa Las Lajas, and backs right onto the beach. The beach is miles long, great for long walks when the tide is out, you will find plenty of space for yourself if that's what you like. When the tide is fully in though there isn't much beach left. The house itself is comfortable, good shower/water pressure, hot water if you need it, a large fridge-freezer, 2 ring hob, rice cooker, microvave etc. If you plan to self cater try to stock up if you are coming through somewhere bigger as there's not much choice in Las Lajas or Cruce. The restaurant options are very limited for veggies, there's more choice for meateaters of course, but don't expect too much. The Las Lajas Beach Resort has wifi. We didn't have a car but managed fine using taxis when necessary. The neighbours were great; so friendly, kind and helpful, they made our stay go really smoothly. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the beach house.
