The perfect mix of country relaxation and village living.

-Children - OK for toddlers but special care needs to be taken with windows on upper floor.
- we request that the noise is kept down after 10pm and before 7am.
- As it is a family house, some family things will be left in the house and we will store some things in a locked room that will not be available for use.
-There are 3 resident cats our preference is that our guests would feed them (of course, we will provide food)
NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave; Bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels);
spacious and great views
The bach itself was very nice - recently renovated, clean and tidy. NIce shower, comfy bed and the kitchen was adequate.
The out look was nice with the trees around the only negative was that we where not expecting the hosts home to be so close.
Lovely quiet spot, Tuis a plenty.
The cottage is clean, comfortable and centrally located to Mapua and the surrounding Tasman district. Ideal for exploring the area.
this is a great little place, the owners were very helpful and the cottage is really relaxing and comfy. Great bed , lovely linen will definitly come back
Really enjoyed this stay!
TreeTopRetreat has an artistical atmosphere and a useful and handy equipment as well. You really feel like being between the treetops; also nice to sit outside, smell the pines and have a look at the stars in the evening :-)
Sarah and Grant are great hosts. I was a little bit stuck on the hill because I've arrived without a car. So Sarah borrowed me her personal mountainbike to get around and Grant even gave me a lift to Nelson. Thanks a lot!
