This newly remodeled two bedroom home conveniently located in Denver is a showcase for fine rustic craftsmanship. The interior has been completely redone with classic Colorado aspen and blue pine. Beautiful aspen logs frame new windows and hardwood doors. Hardwood floors and oriental rugs stand under a fine collection of antiques and handcrafted, locally built aspen log furniture in every room! Authentic mountain art and photography don the walls and designer touches make this home a five-star experience.

It will be easy to enjoy the charming landscaping or take time to relax in the comfortable log living room. This unit has all the amenities of home, including washer and dryer, dishwasher, super shower pressure, new flat panel TV's in the living room and bedroom, and a furnished patio with a gas grill.

All the beds feature plush new mattresses. Designer comforters and sheets are sure to make your stay warm and comfortable. The master bedroom features an Olympic Queen size bed (6' wider than a traditional Queen). The second bedroom is equipped with a Twin XL over a Queen Bunk Bed.

Conveniently located three blocks from the light rail, you will be able to access all Denver has to offer by commuter train. If you prefer to drive, you will be only minutes from I-25, 285, or Colorado Blvd. This home is less than 10 minutes from Downtown Denver, Denver Tech Center, Swedish Hospital, Craig Hospital, and Denver University.

Long time Denver resident Jon Weekley is an avid mountaineer and snowboarder. He is also owner of Medicine Wolf Log Furniture where he and a full time staff create charming rustic furniture from pine, aspen and exotic woods. This lodge home is his project, created to reflect his love of the mountains and the comfort and style of Colorado living. When Jon is not building furniture he can be found enjoying local hangouts like Eldorado Canyon State Park or Rocky Mountain National Park.

This rental is only 30 minutes from Denver International Airport, located in the heart of south Denver. The city is only minutes from your front door via a short car ride or a short light rail ride.

Major ski resorts like Loveland, Winter Park, Breckenridge, Keystone and Vail are only 1-2 hours away.

This home is relaxing and quiet and comfortable. If you are looking for something special like a crib or stroller please ask.

This is our second time to stay at Jon's home and we love it. It is perfect for us, the location is perfect in being close to the family. The house fits perfect for the two of us-so comfortable. We love having a full kitchen. A comfortable bed, nice sheets and towels. This is becoming our home away from home.

Love this place!

We have rented this house twice and loved it! It's adorable with fun mountain decor, easily accessible from 25 and a quick drive to wash park, tech center, downtown, DU, etc. It's clean, inviting, has all the amenities you need, and charming. We are beyond pleased!

Great place to stay

We had a wonderful weekend in Denver, in large part because of our accommodations. The location provided easy access from the interstate in a quiet and charming neighborhood. The kitchen was logical in its lay out, which helped in meal preparation; the beds were comfortable and welcoming; the home itself was very relaxing.

Pleasant Stay

First trip to Denver, and had a really pleasant visit. We were there for business and pleasure. This home is able to accommodate the person who is staying in - patio, yard, beautiful neighborhood, shopping nearby, restaurants etc. And accommodates those that are going out and about to see the mountains, downtown Denver etc. Wifi great, cable great, comfort great, check in, check out awesome and easy. We will certainly recommend this home for others we know visiting Denver. Thank you!

Wonderful stay in Denver

First, the house is every bit as charming in person as it looks in the pictures! It is spotlessly clean, comfortable, and has everything you need to make yourself at home. We grilled, hung out on the patio, watched movies and just really enjoyed this home away from home. Jon was very helpful and got right back to me when I had questions. The area is great also. The neighborhood is is nice and quiet and very convenient to everything there is to do in Denver. We brought our bikes and went biking on the canal trail which is about a block away from the house. For people with young children, the elementary school across the street has an awesome playground. We enjoyed our stay so much we are looking at spending another week here next summer. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Jon was very accommodating and an excellent host. The interior furnishings of his home were very comfortable, especially the beds, and we appreciate his attention to details. The landscaping could use some attention, but we never spent anytime utilizing the outside around his home. Would definitely stay there again. Thanks Jon.
