Great quiet getaway

  • 4 of 5

Very nice, small cabin (fine for our family of 4) that sits on a fairly private section of river. It's in a great location, near Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, Hendersonville, and just a short trip to Asheville. We spent evenings playing in the water, which was my kids' favorite part of the trip. The cabin could definitely use additional fans, living room blinds or better AC as it got very warm in mid-July, but I'm sure in the fall it's perfect.

Quintessential Mountain Getaway

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was perfect! Everything was clean and ready for our arrival as promised. The porch sits over a section of the Broad River, my boys (9 & 12) stayed in the river, skipping rocks and frolicking in the "rapids," it was their wonderland. My husband and I were able to relax on the porch in the evening listening to the sound of the water, natures natural lullaby. We had such a relaxing week... can't wait to come back!

Great Cabin in a perfect location!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin is awesome! It is in a great location, easy to get to Chimney Rock, Tubing, waterfalls and Lake Lure. My 8 year old had the best time just playing in the yard and "rock jumping" in the river. The deck over the river was really cool and it was so relaxing to just sit out there and enjoy the view after a busy day. We will definitely be back!

A Great Get-Away

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I had the pleasure of spending a week here in September. The weather was beautiful and the creek so soothing. Everyday we ventured out to the many places to see in the area such as Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, Biltmore House, Black Mountain and even the Great Smokey Mountains. When we returned back to the beautifully updated cabin at night everything we needed to relax and enjoy the evening was at our fingertips. We would highly recommend this property. The only problem we had was leaving.

Cozy cabin on the river

  • 5 of 5

I had the pleasure of staying at this cabin during the last two autumns for a week each time and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Love the interior with the rough hewn lumber feel. It's a perfect size for a couple or a small family. Breakfast on the porch was my morning favorite as you were looking over the river. Nice tiled bathroom and cozy bedrooms too. Fall is a good time

to be there with the crisp mornings and cool nights. Had some friends over one night and cooked dinner there as well. Very nice appliances. Went to

nearby Chimney Rock every day. It's about 2.5 miles away and a little bit farther down is Lake Lure. If you are into hiking and outdoor activities, this is your place. Centrally located near Hendersonville ( about 15 miles ) and Asheville ( about 22 miles to downtown ) plus a lot of winding mountain roads for an enjoyable drive. Fall is fantastic for apple season too. This is a great cabin to get away from it all but still close enough for some bigger city amenities. Looking forward to my next trip here!
