This tasteful traditional home filled with light and space, has a contemporary relaxed feel, and is awaiting your arrival for a long weekend, weeklong or long-term getaway.

Walk through the beautiful open foyer to the cathedral ceiling living room. The cozy den with wet bar is a perfect place to unwind and watch premium cable or jump on Wi-Fi after a long day of golfing, tennis, kayaking, cycling, horseback riding, or simply reading at the beach or club. A fully equipped eat in kitchen as well as a formal dining room is ready for those who want to entertain. Beautiful days are a plenty in South Carolina, enjoy them on the large multi-tiered deck that runs the entire back of the home with sliders from every room. Mature Palms and Crooked Oaks inhabit the property to provide you with true privacy.

This 4 bedroom 3 ½ bath house sleeps 10 in beds. The sprawling first floor master suite is furnished with a king size bed, attached private bath with double shower, an oversized Jacuzzi Tub, and walk in closet. The second bedroom known as “The Sage Suite” is located on the 2nd floor and is furnished with a queen size bed and attached private bath. The third bedroom known as “The Sunflower Suite” is also located on the 2nd floor and is furnished with a queen size bed, attached private bath and a standing shower. The Sage and Sunflower suites have their own private balconies as well. The fourth bedroom known as “The Frog” is located above the garage and is furnished with a queen size bed and two twin beds. I would love to stay here - Where are you?

I have been trying to get in touch with you for several weeks, but all I get from "Home Away" is "Thanks for your inquiry". If you are out there please give me a head's up at Many thanks, we are looking for a place to gather our children and grandchildren to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary next summer. Have loved Seabrook for many years, but we need a large house like yours for next year.

A Seabrook Jewel

Thank you Erika for a wonderful stay in your spacious and inviting home. Of course it all began with your kind and personable hospitality. We are appreciative of how willing you were to accommodate our needs and enjoyed immensely our week stay there.

This is our fourth time to vacation at Seabrook with our three children and their families. My wife commented on the last day that she believes this was by far the best experience. Of the other two homes we have rented, this layout for us was best. Each bedroom is private and separate from the others, and yet there is plenty of common space in which to comfortably congregate. My son and two son-in-laws moved the furniture to the edge of the great-room, which allowed my grandchildren to do their gymnastic stunts, put on plays and dance with silliness together. My was it fun to enjoy their antics. The home is nicely furnished with items that feel homey and restful.

I liked that the home was more central on the island. The pools and beach are very accessible.

We intend to rent this property again and hope that it does not become too popular with others :-)!

Decent big house

House is good sized for our three families with 5 kids total. Back pitch is big and nice. Lots of stairs that is frustrating keeping babies from crawling up. Major bug problem inside house though. Killed numerous bugs (mainly roaches) everyday and a lot of them in frog. Called rental company and they said they would send exterminator but we never saw any evidence of this and continued to have major bug problem all week. We will probably not rent this house again.

Owner's Response: Good afternoon Barbara, We read your feedback on VRBO and we're sorry to learn that everything wasn't just right for your visit to Seabrook Island. We have been in communication with Beachwalker Rentals and the pest control company that services our home on a monthly basis. The pest control people found the key that was left for them below the door mat and treated the home while you were out. The technician explained to us that the treatment does not provide immediate results. The treatment is colorless and nearly odorless so unless you ran into Steve, you would not have know that they applied anything. Additionally, Steve mentioned that he has received many calls already this year for the Palmetto bugs. Apparently since the winter was so mild, insects are flourishing and are finding their way into most pretreated homes. Although we are over 1,000 miles away, we pride ourselves in being available to our guests 24/7 to handle any issues that arise. We only wish we would have known about this while it was happening rather than after the fact. We understand that you will most likely not be renting our home in the future, we only hope that given the above information, our pricing and the extra time thrown in - you might reconsider. Our family has owned this property for over 14 years and all of us enjoy the time we spend there. We're sorry that anytime you had there was unpleasant. I understand about the bugs since we live in SC as well. Your house was great we enjoyed it tremendously with the space for us to relax and our grand children refer to the room over as the "Secret Room". So I am not counting out renting your home in the future. Seabrook Island has been our family's vacation spot for five years now, renting a house verses a villa is so much nicer with our expanding family. I do appreciate you contacting me with your regrets, that means a lot. I was going to contact the agency regarding a Strawberry Shortcake dvd we could not remove from the unit, hopefully they got it out. Again thanks for your response. Sincerely, Barbara
