East End Eden I & III, the only true one bedroom condos on Cowpet Bay that rent
Welcome to East End Eden III, our one bedroom, two bath luxury beachfront condominium just steps from the beach at the Elysian Beach Resort on secluded Cowpet Bay. One of only two true one-bedroom condos on Cowpet Bay available for rent (the other is our East End Eden I condo/VRBO #318468/HomeAway #332486), the condo was completely remodeled and updated in December 2014. The unit has a fully equipped kitchen and two full baths. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a vacation with friends, or a family vacation with 1-2 children, the condo has everything you need for that special trip. The condo comfortably accommodates 2-4 guests. Located less than 25 yards from the resort pool and white sand beach on Cowpet Bay, the condo’s two private balconies offer spectacular views of the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. The bedroom has a king-size bed with Tempur-pedic mattress, full bath with shower, a private balcony, 42-inch flat screen LED TV and DVD player. The living room has a queen-size Murphy bed with a comfortable mattress, a private balcony, 50-inch flat screen LED TV, DVD player and a stereo with blue-tooth.
We provide free Wi-Fi as well. There is a second full bath with shower off the kitchen and a laundry closet with full size washer and dryer. There is parking available if you have a rental car.
Need more space? We also own a two bedroom/three bath condo that can accommodate up to seven guests. It is HomeAway property 241811 (VRBO 231249).
As our guests, you have access to all of the amenities at the Elysian including the pool with its grotto, waterfall and hot tub, tennis court, and water sport rental shack. There is an onsite gym with a daily or weekly fee. There is wonderful snorkeling on the reef immediately offshore in Cowpet Bay. We have several sets of snorkeling equipment in various sizes for our guests to use. Other sets may be rented at the Elysian beach shack. Lounge chairs are provided at no charge on the palm-lined beach, which also has ample shade for those who prefer it. Beach towels are also provided at no charge from the Elysian Beach Resort office. There are two restaurants on the resort property. Sangria's Beachside Bistro offers a more casual menu. The Caribbean Fish Market offers a more upscale dining experience. Additionally, there is a bar next to the pool and adjacent to the beach.

About Sue and Bruce Davis
We live in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We first visited St. Thomas in March 2007 and immediately fell in love with the Island. After two more trips, all of which were spent at the Elysian in a colleague's condo, we decided we needed our own place. We purchased a 2 bedroom unit in 2009 (VRBO # 231249/HomeAway #241811) and we had so much fun meeting new guests (if only by phone or email) and helping them have a great Caribbean vacation, that we decided to buy a one bedroom unit in 2010 (VRBO # 318468/HomeAway 332486). We purchased the third unit in September of 2014 and immediately and completely remodeled it. Eventually we intend to spend large portions of our retirement years in our condos, but for now we enjoy frequent vacations there and helping create memorable vacations for our guests.

From the moment we set foot on Cowpet Bay Beach we could feel the tensions leave us and we knew that this was the place we wanted to own a vacation home. St. Thomas is a US territory and easily accessible from the East Coast and most of the mainland US. The seclusion of Cowpet Bay and the gentle waves make it ideal for relaxing and recharging! But if you want a go-go vacation there are so many great beaches on St. Thomas and nearby St. John and the variety of restaurants on St. Thomas is amazing for an island that is only about 38 square miles. In short, we found our East End Eden so we decided to buy a condo or three!
What makes this Condo unique
We fell in love with Cowpet Bay because it is a quiet beach that does not attract the noisy cruise ship crowds that some other beaches do. The beach immediately relaxes you (together with an adult beverage or two from the beachside/poolside bar). The ample supply of beach chairs and the shade provided by the palm and sea grape trees make it the perfect place to unwind, relax, read a book and take a seaside nap!

Totally as advertised
Place was great, obviously recently upgraded. Place contained about everything you could ask for. Location was close to the pool and restaurant but not so close that you still had your level of privacy. Would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful property conveniently located near Red Hook and ferry terminal. Condo was well stocked with necessities and lots of extras to use during the stay. With two bathrooms and the Murphy bed in the living room the unit was perfect for four adults. Cannot wait to go back and would highly recommend this or any of the East End Eden units.
Everything was perfect! From the cleanliness of the condo to the location by the pool and beach to the two great restaurants on the property. We definitely want to return! Thanks Sue and Bruce!!

Excellent set up. Everything from home that you need to be comfortable. Sue and Bruce are great and provide a highly enjoyable home for you to enjoy.
St. Thomas is only 38 square miles but it has a wealth of beautiful beaches and great restaurants all of which are easily accessible by car. We recommend that our guests rent a car (Hertz, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Thrifty all have operations at or adjacent to the airport) to fully enjoy all the island has to offer. With the exception of Hertz cars, you can take your vehicle to nearby St. John on the car ferry (20 minute trip) and explore St. John, two-thirds of which is a National Park.
The condo is located on the east end of the island (thus the name 'East End Eden'), less than two miles from the town of Red Hook. Red Hook has a lot of restaurants, shops and a world-class marina where you can charter a fishing trip or sailing excursion. The people ferry and the car ferry also depart for St, John, USVI from Red Hook, as well as the passenger ferry to several of the British Virgin Islands.
