A rare find in Ft. Lauderdale! True value for your money!
This apartment has been updated with total comfort in mind.
It’s squeaky clean, something we are very fussy about.
And it has a great floor plan – big open kitchen/living room with comfortable queen-size bed. The living area has a large flat screen TV and contemporary furnishings. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready to go.
Reliable high speed WIFI, HDTV (Att Uverse full package), air conditioning, bed linens, bath towels, kitchen necessities (plates, glasses, pots, pans, utensils, etc) and more.
The apartment is located in a 4-plex building and has a separate entrance. Enjoy dining outside n a private tropical setting on the backyard patio. Yes the bar-b-q is provided.
Off-street parking is available in front of the apartment.
Over the years my husband and I have traveled much of the globe. Being big travelers and exposed to all sorts of accommodation we know how wonderful it is to discover a place that really feels like 'home'. We think we've created this in our Vacation Rentals - and I'm happy to say our guests agree!
We love Ft. Lauderdale - perfectly named the 'Venice of America' with all it's water channels and beautiful scenery. It's sunny, warm and tropical, and has a laid back Caribbean-like atmosphere. Since we're drawn to the ocean and anything marine related its the perfect place for us.
Some of our favorite things to do:
* Go for an early morning walk along the beach...then a dip in the ocean.
* 'Friday night concerts' in our neighborhood park - (during the summer months).
* Stroll along Las Olas - and indulge.... at the frozen yogurt shop!!
* 'People watch' while sipping a glass of wine outside of Mango's (Restaurant). Friday nights they have a live band and dancing.
* Buy ingredients at The Fresh Market (a block away) for a bar-b-que on the patio.
* Go boating with friends.
The things I couldn't live without would be family & friends, the ocean, traveling and good food!!
Our life has been one big adventure and it keeps getting better.
If you want to get to know us better - you can read about our travels. In our first book we describe our first sailing experience - crossing the Pacific Ocean to Australia with our 8 month old baby. It's called 'The Unsinkable Spirit - In Search of Love, Adventure and Riches!' Enjoy the read!
We love the location!!! We totally enjoyed renovating the property to our standards. The neighborhood is fantastic - convenient, central - 2 miles to a beautiful beach - can walk downtown. Couldn't be better.
Location, location, location.
* Quaint NEIGHBORHOOD.
* Convenient CENTRAL location.
* Off-street PARKING in front of property.
* BUS stop 1 block away.
* Excellent GROCERY store (The Fresh Market) within a block. Winn Dixie 2 blocks away.

Shirley and Boris are a wonderful Hosts and it was so evident that they take great care of the cottage.
Thanks Judy(Property Manager) to take good care of me.
I would highly recommend this property.
We have stayed at 2 of Shirley's properties and both of them were lovely! They were very clean and well maintained and nicely furnished. The private yards with the patios were great for drinking our coffee in the morning. Shirley was so nice to deal with. I would highly recommend her properties!
Shirley and Boris were very welcoming. I had answers to all of my questions immediately. It was a super comfortable and convenient stay while I was working in the area. Love the off street parking , right in front of the apt.
