Perfect family cabin

  • 5 of 5

My fiance, myself and our dog loved staying at the Cozy Forest! Would definitley stay there again or recomend to friends and family :o) Felt right at home with every kitchen ameity available. Bedrooms were extreamly plush and comfy, bathroom was clean. A major plus for our family was "pets allowed" but on top of that there was a dog run located in back, great place for her to stretch her legs and do her business. Food and drink within walking distance and very close to main Village. Julie was great during the booking process and was more than capable of answering our every question. You wont be disapointed with Cozy Forest, hope this helps.

Clean and spacious cabin

  • 4 of 5

Loved our stay at Cozy Forest!!! Everything we needed was available, close by and the home was extremely clean! Julie was so easy to work with from day one. Our only "issue" was the lack of backyard. It's really more of a slope and not room for the kiddos to play. But other than that, all was great! Be back soon!

Basic rental for short-term stay

  • 3 of 5

Pro: Rental agent (Julie) was great, offered quick replies, house was clean, and everything was in good working order, ok parking, comfortable beds, close to small market and restaurants.

Cons: Surrounding homes kind of run down so deck view is not good, neighbors play music, can't really walk to lake or gain access, no screen door, only one TV, summer time can be hot w/o air, and pretty high rate for what you get.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review. Yes our home is much newer than some of the homes in the area. The lake is walking distance from the home but for boat access you will need to go to the marina. 95% of the homes in Big Bear do not have AC units as it is not needed in that climate. We provided you with clear instructions via email on how to easily and quickly cool down the house. We have screens on all the windows and ceiling fans in each room (a screen door is not needed). Opening all the windows and turning on the fans cools off the home with fresh mountain air.

definitley would stay in either cabin again!

  • 5 of 5

What an awesome place to stay! When we arrived, it was easy to find the cabin and was very clean inside. It had plenty of room for the family and the private yard and dog run was an awesome plus!! The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room in the kitchen. Every time we contacted the owner Julie, she got back to us within an hour and answered any questions we had. We will be booking the cabin we stayed in or the one next to it for next year and the years to come!! Would recommend this cabin to anyone who asks.
