Stayed for 3 nights, out side look old painting almost gone. Inside is ok. Basement hard smells of wood. Heater in basement didn't work. Rather it makes strange tick tock sounds woke up twice frightend to those sounds. Ground and second floor are good. kitchen is good, had all utensils. Bath room is average. It did not reach my expectation for the rent we payed.

Great Ski House

  • 4 of 5

We had a great time in this house over President's Day Weekend. The house is very conveniently located right off the main access road and is close to all the restaurants and bars (and the mountain, of course). The Butternut Pancake house is about three doors down, so we walked there for breakfast every morning.

The descriptions and pictures are accurate. The house was clean. The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking. The fireplace is gas with a timer, which is great. There are only two bathrooms and one is in the master bedroom, but we made it work.

I would definitely recommend this house and I will look to rent again next year.
