The house was very clean and very close to town. It was a comfortable layout allowing everyone to have their own space. The company is easy to work with and full of helpful employees.
The cabin was incredible. It was on the top of the mountain and the stares were stunning. It was pretty secluded and my friends and I had an excellent time. The walk to downtown wasn't too far but the walk back was a little crazy because of the incline to the cabin. Only warning is there is no internet so pack accordingly. We brought poker chips and games so we always had something to do. The agency renting out the cabin was very friendly and communicated very well. My overall experience was excellent and I would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to visit Helen or just get away.
A little hard to find so get directions before you head that way. The TVs leave a little something to be desired, but everything else was great. You can't beat the location. Cabin is 0.4 miles from the main road. I would highly recommend it.
This is a beautiful home, the basement is isolated and great to just go and relax. The view is beautiful, quiet and there are TVs in every room in case you just want to watch TV. However... we rode 3 motorcycles to Helen and was not expecting a gravel road, this should be in the description that way we could choose if we wanted to get our motorcycles up that driveway. The other thing was that when we got in there was an almost dead mouse in the basement which freaked me out. My husband threw it away. We left and came back at night only to find 2 more. I made him look everywhere and put towels over the closets door in case they were there. I called the office and they came the next day to check it out. I believe they found another in the closet. It is understandable since the house is in the mountains, but still freaked me out
My children and I gathered for a couple of days to celebrate the 100th birthday of my father-in-law who passed away at 99 and 3 months. The house looks much better from the inside than the out. The road leading to it was a bit bumpy but there was plenty of parking. Inside the house was clean and comfortable. The agent was very hands on and offered help with any concerns. We had no real concerns until Saturday when the upstairs air just didn't seem to be adequate. The downstairs was very cook and comfortable. I would not have a problem going back to this house, especially in cooler weather. It was a very hot day and may explain why we had trouble being cool enough. While Helen was pretty busy, we had no trouble getting in and out of the road to the house once we found it!
Wonderful vacation cabin. Clean well maintained. Had all the amenities you can ask for. My family had a great time. Special thanks to the customer service we received. Had a hard time finding the cabin. I called and she walked us through the hills and turns until we found the cabin. Definitely will recommend this property. We might rent this cabin again next year.
